Bulldogs clinch playoffs

Griffin Underwood's final tip in a game in Howe. Enterprise photo by Michelle Carney Griffin Underwood led Howe (1711, 8-5) to a 74-66 win at Whitesboro on Tuesday night. The win clinched a playoff spot for the Bulldogs for the second year in a row under Head Coach Tim Short. Howe was one point away from having all starters in double digits. Levi Mrozinski and Nick Wilson each scored 16. Sam Akins scored 10 while Michael
Kehrer scored nine. On Friday, Howe lost at Pilot Point, 48-29. The Bearcats are second in the district behind Ponder who ir ranked second in Class 3A. The Bulldogs will wrap up the regular season at home with a game against Gunter.
