Howe ISD Spring GT (Gifted and Talented) Nomination Window will be February 22

March 4 at noon

Nomination packets will be available beginning February 22, 2016 from the Howe Elementary and the Middle School campus offices.

Parents and teachers of students in grades 1st, 3rd, 4th, at Howe Elementary and 5th – 7th at Howe Middle School, who wish to nominate their child/student to be screened for possible placement in the Howe ISD GT Program for the 2016-2017 school year may pick up a nomination packet from their campus office

Students in kindergarten and second grade are automatically screened each year

Howe ISD's GT program serves students in the areas of language arts, math, science and social studies. It requires that a child be creative and original in expression, task committed, and willing and able to use higher-level thinking skills.
