Farmers Market successful

Wesson says that they keep everything within 100-150 mile range. Kimberly Hamric of Udderly Rustic said that she was impressed with the turnout of the first day. Her hottest item of the day were her eggs and lavender soap. Suzy Sauls of Mama Suzy's said that her pecan pies and jalapeno cheddar beer bread went quickly. "I thought it went great." said Debbie Wallis, owner of Salvage Junky. "We had a lot of traffic and people leaving with bags of fruits and vegetables."

Scouts start to work on Mame Roberts Memorial Garden Gazebo

The local Howe scouts started a project to renovate the Mame Roberts Memorial Garden Gazebo located just south of the old First Christian Church. The young men started the process of scraping the

old paint off of the wooden area in preparation of new white paint to match the old church that is also being renovated.

surrounding areas. The scouts are preparing to paint next Sunday with the help of Howe Fire Department's lift truck.
