Scouts start to work on Mame Roberts Memorial Garden Gazebo

The local Howe scouts started a project to renovate the Mame Roberts Memorial Garden Gazebo located just south of the old First Christian Church The young men started the process of scraping the old paint off of the wooden area in preparation of new white paint to match the old church that is also being renovated

The area was originally dedicated to the memory of nationally known Mame Roberts of Howe who was a leader of beautification projects all over Texas There is a marking at the location that gives in great detail her value to Howe and the surrounding areas
