Howe Hall of Honor tickets on sale in Howe In the first act as the new Howe Area Chamber of Commerce, the board decided to honor those who have served and contributed in great ways to the City of Howe in their own unique way. The member decided on tweleve charter members to honor for the first class of the annual induction ceremony to be held on the eve of Founders Day each year.

The tickets arrived last Wednesday and were quickly distributed to City Hall and Independent Bank in Howe where they can be purchased for $15 per ticket. Included in the tickets will be refreshments and a souvenir program. The ceremony will take place downtown in the new EDC/Chamber building at 101 E. Haning St. If the event is larger than,
anticipated, then it will be moved outdoors in the street. A presentation from the Howe Area Chamber of Commerce President Robert Cannaday will be made along with Howe Mayor Jeff Stanley. HDA Director of Economic Development, Monte Walker will make a presentation for each inductee and they will be awarded with a commemorative momento from the Howe Area Chamber of Commerce. Inductee members will be Jabez Haning, Mayor W.P. Thompson, A.M. Ferguson, Mame Roberts, Charles R. Thompson, Arthur Boyle, Tony Brinkley, L.B. Kirby, Norma Wallace, Ray Bledsoe, Carrie Waller and Elmer Schenk.
