vailable as part of JLG’s broad suit of aftersales services accessible under ‘Ground Support’, which is best described as providing “everything you need to stay in the air,” Service Plus offers a choice of two plans, allowing operators to select the one that most closely meets their needs. A key benefit of Service Plus is that it provides a known, monthly fixed price for servicing and maintenance of equipment, providing greater budgetary control and minimising the risk of any surprises at the time of servicing. A regular service plan such as those offered under Service Plus, also provides long term savings and minimises the risk of costly downtime by pre-empting any possible issues with the equipment. Additionally, Service Plus ensures all machines are regularly checked and comply with Australian Standards and job site requirements, ensuring the safety of operators and other people on site. JLG Industries (Australia) Ryan Pragnell, said the Service Plus program was the latest in a long list of aftersales services the company had developed, designed to make ownership of JLG equipment as efficient, hassle-free, and enjoyable as possible.

This not only means that every box is ticked in terms of what’s required for the ongoing performance of the machine, it also ensures that applicable compliance standards are met, while providing full pricing transparency with fixed known costs.” Available for either three- or five-year durations, the two Service Plus by JLG plans are: Service Plus - Preventative Frequent and annual inspections. This service is available for machines of any age.
