Fuel is inflammable. For this reason, the machine must not be refuelled when the engine is running or still hot. During servicing works on the fuel system do not carry out welding operations, do not smoke and do not use open flames.
Consumables must be removed from the system by applying stateof-the-art techniques with the aim of preventing fluids from dripping out of the units. 5.
Clean the sealing surface of the filter head.
6.
Screw the sensor into the new filter cartridge and fill the cartridge with fuel.
7.
Apply a thin layer of oil on the gasket of the fuel filter.
8.
Screw the sensor into the filter cartridge.
9.
Fill the cartridge with fuel and screw onto the filter head until the gasket is in contact with the sealing surface, then thighten by hand.
10. Plug the connector into the sensor. 11.
Check after some time whether the sealing face between filter head and fuel filter is tight. For the removal of fuel use only state-of-the-art closed systems as are suitable for the removal of refrigerants. When handling flammable liquids, observe the regulations on flammable liquids and other applicable regulations such as the explosion protection prescriptions.
