Instrument panel indicator lamps
When the ingnition switch is turned to ON, all systems in the instrument panel are tested with selftest routines. All LEDs (LED = light-emitting diode) light up and a warning tone is heard for 3 seconds. At the end of this test, all systems return to the normal mode of operation. In the case of an open circuit condition in the cable between a sensor and the instrument panel, the LED blinks and the warning tone can be heard for 5 seconds.
IMPORTANT: If the main warning lamp (on the front console) blinks in operation and if the acoustic warning system sounds a continuous tone, stop the engine and shut it off to locate and rectify the cause of the problem.

2. Lighting indicator lamp:
This indicator lamp lights up when the headlamps are on high beam.
8. Engine radiator grill heating indicator lamp:
Activate the heating by turning the ignition switch to ON. Indicator lamp (10) lights up when the engine radiator grill heating is on. Wait until the indicator lamp is OFF before turning the ignition switch to the START position to start up the engine. The indicator lamp may light up once again during the starting procedure and shortly after the engine starts up for after-heating of the air.
9. Steering pressure/emergency steering pressure indicator lamp
The indicator lamp lights up when the pressure in the steering system is too low. The warning signal sound continuously and the central warning lamp lights up red.
Shut off the machine immediately and contact your distributor.

1. Brake pressure indicator lamp
The brake pressure indicator lamp lights up when the pressure in the brake system is too low. The warning signal sound continuously and the central warning lamp lights up accompanied by the following message on the screen:
Stop the machine and rectify the fault.
10. Parking brake indicator lamp:
The lamp lights up when the parking brake is locked. If the gearbox is shifted into FORWARD or REVERSE GEAR while the parking brake is locked, the warning tone sounds.
11. Hazard warning system and turn signal right indicator lamp:
The green indicator lamps are flashing when the turn signal indicator (right) or the hazard warning system is on in ignition switch position I.
15. Hazard warning system and turn signal left indicator lamp:
The green indicator lamps are flashing when the turn signal indicator (left) or the hazard warning system is on in ignition switch position I.

6. Central warning lamp "STOP" (red, critical):
Central warning lamp STOP is a critical warning indicator.
Critical warning
When the central warning lamp STOP lights up, stop the machine IMMEDIATELY and SHUT OFF the engine. Any failure to comply with this procedure may result in injury and/or in damage to the machine. Observe the instructions on the display.
The following table contains the critical symbols/warnings which may be displayed on the screen of the instrument panel and the measures that must be taken to remedy the situation. If a fault occurs, a warning is sounded and the central warning lamp lights up RED. The indicators on the instrument panel signal a warning.
Critical warnings Display message – Description – Remedial action (7)
Display message Description Remedial action
Engine oil pressure Low engine oil pressure below 0.7 bars (10 psi) Brake pressure Brake pressure too low
Steering pressure (with servo steering)
Low steering pressure Bring the machine safely to a halt and SHUT OFF the engine immediately. Contact your distributor
Coolant temperature Engine coolant temperature too high Bring the machine safely to a halt and SHUT OFF the engine immediately. Check the coolant levels when the engine and the coolant are cold. Contact your distributor.
Hydraulic oil temperature Hydraulic oil temperature too high Gearbox oil temperature Gearbox oil temperature too high Bring the machine safely to a halt and SHUT OFF the engine immediately. Contact your distributor.

"Caution" (yellow, non-critical).
These faults can possibly be eliminated by the driver himself.
Fig.1 3100441.00 The central warning lamp CAUTION (Fig. 1) is a non-critical warning lamp. When central warning lamp CAUTION lights up and an intermittent warning tone is heard, change the mode of operation, envisage an immobilization for servicing purposes and – if the problem cannot be solved – contact the distributor of your machine. The following table contains the non-critical symbols/warnings which may be displayed on the screen of the instrument panel and the measures that must be taken to remedy the situation.
Display message Coolant temperature
Hydraulic oil temperature Description Non-critical warnings
Remedial action
High engine coolant temperature above normal 1. Let engine run at idle and watch the temperature. 2. Clean the radiator. 3. Check the coolant level and top up, if necessary. 4. If this message continues to remain active, contact your distributor.
High hydraulic oil temperature above normal 1. Let engine run at idle and watch the temperature. 2. Clean hydraulic oil cooler. 3. Check the hydraulic oil level. 4. If this message continues to remain active, contact your distributor.
Display message Description Remedial action
Gearbox oil temperature
High gearbox oil temperature above normal
1. Let engine run at idle and watch the temperature. 2. Clean hydraulic oil cooler. 3. Shift into a lower gear. 4. If this message continues to remain active, contact your distributor. Air filter Air filter highly contamined 1. Clean the air filter. 2. Clean the primary and the secondary filter. 3. If this message continues to remain active, contact your distributor.
Gearbox oil filter
Gearbox oil filter clogged up 1. Replace the gearbox oil filter. 2. If this message continues to remain active, contact your distributor.
System voltage
Alternator fault Battery voltage too low 1. Check the electrical system 2. Voltage levels not within specified limits (min/max) 3. If this message continues to remain active, contact your distributor.

Attention
Instrument range A (Fig. 2): see
"Warming up the machine".
Fig.1....3100442.00 The gearbox oil temperature instrument indicates the temperature of the oil in the gearbox. Under normal operating temperature conditions, the needle of the instrument is in range B (Fig. 2). If the temperature continues to rise into range C, an oscillating tone is heard, the central warning lamp CAUTION lights up yellow and a message is displayed on the screen (see table). If the gearbox oil temperature continues to rise further and if the needle of the instrument reaches range D, a continuous acoustic warning is sounded. The central warning indicator lights up red. Do NOT use the machine when the temperature has reached this range.

125 °C and above) oil temperature very high Stop (red) gearbox oil temperature too high
NOTE: Stop the machine, shift the gearbox into NEUTRAL and let the engine run at idle to prevent gearbox damage. If this is not sufficient to cool the gearbox oil down to operating temperature, check the gearbox oil level. Eliminate the fault before putting the machine again back into operation.
