Operation Connecting hydraulic lines to the machine IMPORTANT! The hydraulic system is pressurised even when the engine is not running. When the hydraulic system is pressurized, the hydraulic quick-couplers cannot be connected. Because of this, before connecting the hydraulic quick-couplers: • Release the pressure in the sections of the system and hydraulic lines that will be opened before starting setup or repair work, e.g., fitting/removing an attachment.
B A
☞ Shut off the engine. ☞ Engage the parking brake. ☞ Release the pressure in the hydraulic lines. ➥ – see Depressurizing the quick-couplers on the loader unit on page 82. ☞ Remove hydraulic lines A and B from the quickhitch.

☞ Connect hydraulic lines A and B to the hydraulic connections C and D on the attachment.
A
NOTE Make sure the quick-couplers are properly connected – never connect the hydraulic lines crosswise, otherwise the attachment functions will be reversed.
☞ Functional check: C
D
• Make sure the hydraulic lines are not pinched throughout the entire range of motion of the attachment.
