Troubles

Presumable cause

Driving system

The cutting height is low. The engine speed is low.

Adjust the tire pressure. (Refer to p.64.) Adjust the tie-rod. (Ask the dealer from which you purchased your machine.) Repair the steering gear. (Ask the dealer from which you purchased your machine.) Adjust the tie rod. (Ask the dealer from which you purchased your machine.) Adjust the tire pressure. (Refer to p.64.) Securely tighten the bolt. Replace the wheel bearing. (Ask the dealer from which you purchased your machine.) Replace the tire. Replace the blade. (Refer to p.76 to 80.) Wait for the bush to get dry before cutting it. Adjust the cutting height to higher position and cut bush twice. Adjust the cutting height to higher position. Raise it to the maximum speed.

The working speed is fast.

Lower the working speed.

The working speed is fast. The engine speed is low.

Lower the working speed. Adjust the engine speed to maximum speed. (Check the engine revolutions.) Cut bush twice. Replace the cutting blade with a new one. (Refer to p.76 to 80.)

Body

The body vibrates abnormally.

Bush-cutting

The belt slips.

Adjust the brake pedal. (Refer to p.69 and 70.) Replace the tire.

Problem in the steering gear. The machine does not move straight.

Adjust the HST shift linkage. (Ask the dealer from which you purchased your machine.) Replace the brake shoe/drum. (Refer to p.70.)

Poorly adjusted tire pressure. The steering wheel feels heavy.

Action

The ground is bumpy.

Clean the inside of the cutting-blade cover. Adjust the cutting height to higher position. Lower the turning speed. Change the bush-cutting way (cutting direction, etc.). Adjust the cutting height.

The knife blade is bent.

Repalce with new knife blade. (Ask the dealer from which you purchased your machine.)

The belt tension is low. The cutting-blade cover is clogged with brush. Bush is attached to the pulley.

Adjust the belt tension. (Refer to p.64.) Remove the clogging bush and clean inside of the cutting-blade cover. Clean the pulley.

The belt is worn.

Replace the belt with a new one. (Refer to p.65.)
