Transmission

Brake

The machine move slightly when the HST pedal/lever is in “neutral” position.

The brake does not enough.

Defective neutral position adjustment of HST shift linkage. Adjust the HST shift linkage. (Ask the dealer from which you purchased your machine.)

Poorly adjusted brake pedal.Adjust the brake pedal. (Refer to p.69 and 70.) Worn brake shoe. Replace the brake shoe/drum. (Refer to p.70.)

Worn tire. Replace the tire.

Poorly adjusted tire pressure.Adjust the tire pressure. (Refer to p.64.)

Driving system

The steering wheel feels heavy.

Poorly adjusted tie-rod. Adjust the tie-rod. (Ask the dealer from which you purchased your machine.)

Problem in the steering gear. Repair the steering gear. (Ask the dealer from which you purchased your machine.)

The machine does not move straight. Poorly adjusted tie-rod. Adjust the tie rod. (Ask the dealer from which you purchased your machine.)

Poorly adjusted tire pressureAdjust the tire pressure. (Refer to p.64.) Tire mounting bolt is loose.Securely tighten the bolt.

Body

The body vibrates abnormally.

Damaged wheel bearing Replace the wheel bearing. (Ask the dealer from which you purchased your machine.) Cracked tire. Replace the tire. Damaged cutting blade. Replace the blade. (Refer to p.76 to 80.)

The bush is wet. Wait for the bush to get dry before cutting it. The bush is long. Adjust the cutting height to higher position and cut bush twice.

Bush-cutting

Cut bush is not released properly.

The cutting height is low. Adjust the cutting height to higher position. The engine speed is low. Raise it to the maximum speed.

The working speed is fast. Lower the working speed.

The working speed is fast. Lower the working speed. The engine speed is low. Adjust the engine speed to maximum speed. (Check the engine revolutions.)

The bush is long. Cut bush twice.

Some bush remains uncut.

The cutting blade is worn or damaged. Replace the cutting blade with a new one. (Refer to p.76 to 80.)

Bush is piled up to inside of the cutting-blade cover. Clean the inside of the cutting-blade cover.

The cutting height is low. Adjust the cutting height to higher position. The turning speed is high. Lower the turning speed. The ground is not flat. Change the bush-cutting way (cutting direction, etc.).

The ground is bumpy. Adjust the cutting height.

Earth is shaved.

The knife blade is bent. Repalce with new knife blade. (Ask the dealer from which you purchased your machine.)

The belt tension is low. Adjust the belt tension. (Refer to p.64.) The cutting-blade cover is clogged with brush. Remove the clogging bush and clean inside of the cutting-blade cover.

Bush is attached to the pulley.Clean the pulley.

The belt slips.

The belt is worn. Replace the belt with a new one. (Refer to p.65.)
