5. With the unit case placed upside down, install a new O-ring (1) in the case groove, and lay the plate (2) on the unit with its wholes aligned.

7. Insert the drive (1) into the case aligning its slotted end with the pin. Mark a line on top of the drive so that the assembly position of the drive is parallel to the port block mounting surface.

6. Position the spool and sleeve so that the pin is parallel with the port block mounting surface of the steering unit case.

8. After fitting a new O-ring into the stator (1) slot and fitting the seal ring into the rotor (2), grease the surface, and install the stator and O-ring unit to the case and the rotor and seal ring unit to the cap respectively.
