3. Install the differential pinion shaft 2 (1), pinion (2) and washer in order.

IMPORTANT bolt (M10) ...................... 48.0 ~ 55.9 N•m 4.9 ~ 5.7 kgf-m 35.3 ~ 41.0 ft-lb

• Make sure that the key groove on the shaft is aligned with the case groove. Also, the protrusion of the washer should be into the groove.

4. Insert the remaining side gear (1) followed by the differential washer (2) onto it. Then, install the differential case cap (3), and tighten the bolts (4) securely in diagonal direction to the specified torque.

IMPORTANT

• The thickness of the differential washer should be same to the one which were previously installed to the side gear.

• Apply ThreeBond® 1372 or equivalent onto the thread.
