REAR AXLE - DISASSEMBLY, SERVICING AND ASSEMBLY

5. Unscrew the rear axle case mounting bolts and nuts (1) and pull out the rear axle case slightly. Then, hold and remove it using a tool, such as a hoist. (M12 bolt: 11 EA, nut: 2 EA)

6. Remove the cam plate spring (1). Then, remove the cam plate (2) and steel ball (3).

7. Unscrew the differential bearing case mounting bolt (1) to remove the differential bearing case (2).

Important

• Before removing the differential bearing case, note the amount of installed shims so that the same amount of shims can be installed later.
