Old Glory Lodge will reconvene in September

Old Glory Lodge recognized August birthday celebrants at the June meeting. They are, from left, Marvin Vahlenkamp who will be 75, Gladys Vahlenkamp, 97, and Darrell Richards, 80. A dance will be held on Aug. 5. Meetings will not be held in July and August. A meal of hamburgers is planned for the September meeting, and members are asked to bring desserts.

Calvin Lamensky announced National Night Out will be held on Oct. 5 and the Channel 13 food drive will be held Nov. 28. Door prizes were donated by Isabel Medina and Michael and Evelyn Kassey.

Attendance-prize winners were Margie Klobedans, Raymond Schmidt, LaVerne Tiemann, Lupe Palacios and Susie Palacios.
