New Braunfels will meet on Aug. 6

NEW BRAUNFELS – New Braunfels Lodge will meet Sunday, Aug. 6, at 3 p.m. with Tommy Daum as host. The meat will be provided, and members are asked to bring sides and/or desserts. A July meeting will not be held.

The hall and tables were decorated to honor Flag Day in June.

The lodge has awarded four scholarships. Tyler Griscom and Logan Summerville, New Braunfels High School graduates, were in attendance. The Canyon High School recipients were Sierra Schwab and Woodrow Bagnall.

Happy Birthday was sung to Tommy Daum, Virginia Vetter, Sandra Guenther, Connie Krause and Michael Huebinger. Rennie and Sandra Guenther celebrated their 61st anniversary.

Attendance-prize winners were Sandra Guenther, Tommy Daum, Jolene Meuret, Logan Summerville, Sharon Suchy, Shirley Huebinger, Janice Neff, cJerome Vetter, Dennis Schwab, Karen Harborth, Debbie Vetter and Connie Krause.

The supper was hosted by Phillip and Janice Neff.

Following the meeting, all in attendance played a fun game of Blank Slate. Once everyone caught on to the game, members had fun comparing answers. Mary Lou Preuss and Benhard Faske each won one game.

San Marcos Lodge recognized Financial Secretary and Agent Janice Kuhen at the June meeting. Janice was a runner-up for the Leroy Muehlstein Memorial Award for Agent Fraternalist of the Year.

Boerne Lodge welcomes new members in June

BOERNE – Boerne Lodge will meet on July 7 at The Center at Kronkosky Place.

Guest at the June meeting was Compliance Director Ana Vasquez. She answered questions regarding life insurance, IRAs and annuities.

The lodge welcomes new junior members Benjamin Gomez, Amelia Wobser, Karina and Roman Galichet, Alyssa Stewart and Merritt Edge. Samuel Franklin was welcomed as a transfer member from Abilene Lodge.

Condolences are extended to the family of Dwight Scha- fer. A memorial donation of $20 was made to the Retirement Home in his honor.

For Join Hands Day, the lodge made a $500 donation to the Grief Support Camp Session for the children of Uvalde.

Belated birthday gifts of free meal tickets at The Center were given to Barbara D’Spain, Jack Faecher, Lloyd Markell and James Meckel.

Jack Faecher was the winner of the Father’s Day Word Scramble and won a prize.

Louise Schuetze meets Sept. 11

SAN ANTONIO – Louise Schuetze Lodge reminds members that meetings will not be held in June, July and August. The lodge will reconvene on Sept. 11 to celebrate the lodge’s 127th anniversary.

Happy birthday to those celebrating in June, July and Au- gust.

The lodge’s Join Hands Day project this year was a donation of $500 to Camp Discovery.
