Dallas will meet July 23

DALLAS – Dallas Lodge will meet Sunday, July 23, at 1 p.m. at the Hall. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Food and drinks will be available.
The lodge held a member appreciation dinner and pin presentation on May 21 at El Fenix Restaurant. Special guest was Vice Chair of the Board David Wolf.

David addressed the group and discussed insurance, annuities and other matters and answered questions.
Congratulations to the following who received their 70year membership pins, Charles Hatzenbueler, Jr. of Arlington, a member since July 2, 1953; Mary
J. Johnson of Dallas, a member since July 3, 1953; and Cheryl A. Shone of Arlington, a member since July 2, 1953.

Dicke. He will be attending Texas State Technical College in the fall. The scholarship was presented at the Yoakum High School awards program.
In May, the lodge donated toward refreshments for the Memo- rial Day program for veterans held at the fire station. Veterans from the lodge were Charlie Hoepfl and Wilburn Pargmann. A flag program was planned for the June 11 meeting.

Niederwald Lodge will meet Aug. 1
Niederwald Lodge recognized anniversary celebrants Connie and Harry Schriber, 54 years, and Joyce and Don Dailey, 53 years, at the June meeting. The lodge welcomed four new members. In observance of Flag Day, a special poem was read. The next meeting is Aug. 1. A July meeting will not be held.

Adeline Schubert, 93, celebrated a birthday at the June meeting of Niederwald Lodge.
