Former Inner Guard Amanda Deicke passes

SAN ANTONIO – Amanda Lee Deicke, age 88, of San Antonio passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023.

Amanda served Hermann Sons Life as Grand Inner Guard for the 2017 Convention and as a member of several Grand Lodge committees. She was an active member since Nov. 5, 1975, and belonged to Pershing Lodge. Visitation was scheduled for Friday, June 30, from 5-8 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway in San Antonio. The funeral service was scheduled for Saturday, July 1, from 1-2 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home followed by a committal service from 2-2:30 p.m.
