Like the rest of the world, Hermann Sons Life has been impacted by the challenging economic environment of the last few years, especially given inflation, the ups and downs of the stock market and the pandemic . Rest assured, your certificates (policies) are protected through financial reserves that are set aside to ensure that every single claim can and will be paid Those reserves are there for the protection of our members and your financial security will always be our top priority .

You In The Future As We Have Always Done

The last couple of months have been packed with HSL events From participating in Join Hands Day, dance recitals and Camp, so many of our members have been keeping the fraternal spirit alive enjoying our robust member benefit programs

In keeping with HSL’s fraternal tradition, May 6th was Join Hands Day where lodges across the state each chose a service project and worked together to serve their community You’ll be able to read about some service projects our lodges participated in to serve their communities in this edition

Camp is always such a fun-filled week for the kids and it’s a great opportunity for them to unplug from technology and enjoy just being a kid

HSL camps do an incredible job of teaching our junior members faith, responsibility, patriotism and good stewardship Camp is such a memorable and enriching experience for not only the campers, but the counselors as well

Since the addition of overseas staff, the experience has even greater depth as the campers and overseas staff are able to learn about each other’s cultures

If you have a chance to check out our social media pages and/ or the newspaper, you’ll be able to see pictures from Join Hands Day, Dance and Camp

The legacy that is Hermann Sons Life is a beautiful one and it’s one that is so important to share As I have attended recitals and enjoyed pictures from Join Hands Day, Dance and Camp, I can’t help but smile and feel overwhelmed with the blessing that is the HSL community If you haven’t gotten involved yet, I encourage you to do so There are so many great things happening at HSL!

In insurance, there are considerable checks and balances with the Department of Insurance, including reports, audits and financial analysis that are done to ensure the safety and protection of all insureds . While we haven’t been immune to the challenging economic environment, we are researching ways to save money, as well as to find new streams of revenue so that we may serve

I had the pleasure of attending dance recitals recently and was thrilled to see how many of our junior members are taking part in our dance program Our dance teachers, assistants and parent liaisons always work so hard to make sure dance is a rewarding and fun experience for the dance students .

As dance recitals are ending, camp season is ramping up Camp is now in full swing . Our counselors arrived a couple of weeks ahead of the campers and received a great deal of training and our Executive Camp Director Ian Brassett even took it a step further and provided leadership training for our counselors
