Bayswater London Gin se proclamó campeón de la XIX edición del Torneo Toñanejo, el último certamen previo a la disputa del 40º Torneo Internacional BMW de Polo, tras vencer en la final a DR. A por un ajustadísimo 8 a 7.5. Los finalistas le dieron el mejor cierre al último torneo previo a la gran cita del polo mundial que se inició a finales de julio en las canchas del Santa María Polo Club. kers de la final del Torneo Toñanejo, disputada en la cancha 1 de Puente de Hierro, y ofrecieron emoción, buen juego y un electrizante final. La victoria fue para el cuarteto que integran Ramón Beca, Pablo Mora, Tomás Fernández Llorente y Tomás Fernández Llorente (h) por apenas medio gol, diferencia que llegó en el tramo final del último chukker. ker final Bayswater sacó su mejor caballada y el tandem Fernández Llorente padre e hijo funcionó de maravilla para darle el triunfo y el título. A primera hora, Godzilla derrotó a Woodchester por un claro 11.5 a 7. Cuatro equipos, de 10 a 12 goles de handicap, formaron parte de este clásico certamen de inicios de la Temporada de Verano que se disputó en las canchas de Puente de Hierro del Santa María Polo Club.

Bayswater London Gin, winners of the Toñanejo Tournament Bayswater London Gin were proclaimed champions of the 19th Toñanejo Tournament, the last competition prior to the 40th BMW International Polo Tournament, after defeating DR A in the final by an extremely tight 8 goals to 7.5. The finalists provided the perfect end to the last tournament before the big international polo event that started in late July on the Santa María Polo Club fields.

The match Bayswater and Dr A gave each other no respite over the five chukkas of the final of the Toñanejo Tournament held on Puente de Hierro Field 1, delivering excitement, good play and an electrifying final.
Victory went to the quartet made up of Ramón Beca, Pablo Mora, Tomás Fernández Llorente and Tomás Fernández Llorente (Jr) by just half a goal, a lead they took in the final part of the last chukka. Dr A had been ahead for much of the match, but in the final chukka Bayswater brought out their best horses and the Fernández Llorente father-and-son duo performed brilliantly to bring victory and the title to their team. In the first game of the day, Godzilla defeated Woodchester by a convincing 11.5 goals to 7. Four teams with handicaps of 10 to 12 goals took part in this classic early Summer Season contest held on Santa María Polo Club’s Puente de Hierro fields.
