El reciente apagón eléctrico que paralizó vastas zonas del país en 2025 es un recordatorio urgente de la fragilidad de nuestra sociedad hiperconectada. Durante horas —en algunos casos, días— se detuvieron hospitales, colapsaron sistemas de transporte, se interrumpieron las comunicaciones y millones de ciudadanos quedaron atrapados en la incertidumbre, sin acceso a información, servicios o seguridad. Lo que comenzó como una falla técnica se convirtió rápidamente en una crisis social. En una era dominada por la digitalización, nuestra dependencia de la electricidad ha alcanzado niveles críticos. Desde la banca hasta la atención médica, desde la distribución de alimentos hasta la educación virtual, todo está vinculado a una red eléctrica que damos por sentado. El apagón de 2025 no solo dejó a oscuras nuestras calles, sino también nuestras estructuras sociales y económicas. Más allá del caos inmediato, este evento expuso vulnerabilidades estructurales profundas. Las infraestructuras energéticas, muchas de ellas obsoletas o mal mantenidas, no están preparadas para soportar el aumento exponencial de la demanda, ni para resistir ciberataques o desastres naturales cada vez más frecuentes. Además, la falta de protocolos de contingencia efectivas agravó el impacto, revelando una preocupante falta de previsión. Pero esta crisis también ofrece una oportunidad. Es el momento de repensar nuestro modelo energético, invertir en redes inteligentes, diversificar nuestras fuentes con energías renovables y fortalecer la ciberseguridad. La resiliencia debe convertirse en una prioridad, no en un lujo. El apagón de 2025 será recordado no solo por la oscuridad que trajo, sino por lo que nos enseñó: que el verdadero progreso no se mide únicamente por el acceso a la tecnología, sino por nuestra capacidad de sostenerla de forma segura y equitativa.

The recent power blackout that brought vast areas of the country to a standstill in 2025 is an emergent reminder of the fragility of our hyperconnected society. For hours -in some cases, days- hospitals came to a standstill, transport systems collapsed, communications were disrupted and millions of citizens were left trapped in uncertainty, without access to information, services, or security. What started as a technical fault quickly became a social crisis. In an era dominated by digitalisation, our dependency on electricity has reached critical levels. From banks to healthcare, from the distribution of food to virtual education, everything is linked to a power network that we take for granted. The 2025 blackout not only brought darkness to our streets, but it also brought down our social and economic structures. Beyond the immediate chaos, this event exposed deep structural vulnerabilities. Energy infrastructure, much of which is obsolete or poorly maintained, is not prepared to withstand the exponential increase in demand or resist increasingly common cyberattacks or natural disasters. Also, the lack of effective contingency protocols exacerbated the impact, revealing a concerning lack of foresight. However, this crisis also offers an opportunity. It is time to rethink our energy model, invest in smart networks, diversify our sources with renewable energies and strengthen cybersecurity. Resilience must become a priority, not a luxury. The 2025 blackout will not only be remembered for the darkness it brought, but rather for what it taught us: true progress is not only measured by access to technology, but rather our capacity to sustain it in a secure and equitable way.

Sotogrande: la importancia de contar ideas Estamos muy acostumbrados en esta zona, especialmente es algo casi fetichista de los periodistas, al contar y hablar de grandes proyectos o planes e inversiones, serpentear y titular siempre hablando de grandes cifras, de números imponentes y de millones y euros como si más siempre fuese mejor. Todo tiene su importancia en la medida justa de su necesidad, pero en un lugar tan único en el mundo, como es Sotogrande a nivel de destino, es casi igual o más importante hablar y de ideas. Un proyecto urbanístico, deportivo o comercial que remueva una cifra mareante, no es algo que esté precisamente al alcance de todo el mundo pero tampoco es un unicornio, estamos harto acostumbrados a escucharlo y trabajar con ello casi a diario. El valor diferencia de un plan, de una idea, de un proyecto, de un lugar y un destino, es su contenido, no el continente. Poner en marcha algo que tenga raíz, sentido, pertenencia, cultura, peso y que dentro de varias décadas podamos presumir y estemos orgullosos de haber creado algo entre todos. Parcelar un lugar, subdividirlo en villas, casas, apartamientos y locales es algo que podría hacer cualquier. Tener una visión de crear un lugar diferente, capaz de albergar lo que todo el mundo ansía, una seguridad y estilo de vida envidiable, es el cúmulo de factores que hacen de Sotogrande algo imbatible e inimitable. En su día hemos visto como increíbles ideas se han convertido en realidad con campos de golf, clubes y entidades que hoy son una referencia internacional. Algo que además de una inversión mayúscula, generará un impacto directo en empleo directo e indirecto casi por la próxima década y que pone aún más valor a una zona que forma parte también de la expansión de Sotogrande en sí. Bravo por las inversiones pero aún más por las ideas. Una visión ha sido siempre la que ha colocado a Sotogrande en el centro y punto más alto de todas las miradas. Polo Valley anuncia los proyectos The Owners Club y The Hills en Casares y Torreguadiaro, respecticamente, con más de 320 millones de euros de inversión, lo que supone la consolidación de un destino equino internacional sin precedentes

Las instalaciones de Polo Valley (Casares) acogieron la presentación de dos nuevos proyectos en torno al universo del deporte del polo, que supondrán una inversión superior a los 320 millones de euros en sus primeras fases. Ambos proyectos, The Owners Club en Casares, Málaga y The Hills en Torreguadiaron, suponen una apuesta y un paso decisivo por parte de Polo Valley hacia el futuro del estilo de vida de lujo y el deporte ecuestre en el sur de España. Al acto asistieron los alcaldes de ambas poblaciones, Juan Luis Villalón, alcalde de Casares y Juan Carlos Ruiz Box, alcalde de San Roque, así como el fundador de Polo Va-

El proyecto se desarrollará en un entorno natural y virgen junto a estas instalaciones y se convertirá en un refugio privado para jinetes de alto nivel, equipos y organizaciones de polo. The Owners Club contempla la creación de 6 establos privados con un total de 72 boxes de amplio espacio, una cancha de polo de competición de tamaño reglamentario que estará operativa todo el año, una pista de ejercicio ecuestre de nivel mundial, entre otras instalaciones, lo que lo convertirá en el recinto más grande dedicado al polo del sur de Europa. Además, el recinto supondrá la creación de 25 empleos estables y cualificados y estará gestionado por personal especializado durante todo el año. Polo Valley announces The Owners Club and The Hills projects in Casares and Torreguadiaro, respectively, with an investment of over 320 million Euros, which constitutes the consolidation of an unprecedented equestrian destination.

The Polo Valley facilities in (Casares) hosted the launch of two new projects based around the sporting universe of polo, which will involve an investment of over 320 million Euros in the initial stages. Both projects, The Owners Club in Casares, Málaga and The Hills in Torreguadiaro, constitute a commitment and a decisive step by Polo Valley towards the future of the luxury lifestyle and equestrian sport in southern Spain. Jornada y sudor Cuando lo expulsó del paraíso, Dios condenó a Adán a ganarse el pan con el sudor de su rostro. Desde entonces pasaron miles de años en los que la jornada laboral transcurría para prácticamente todos los seres humanos, de todas las edades, de sol a sol. Desde hace un par de siglos, sin embargo, la jornada de trabajo excluye a los niños y se ha ido reduciendo para los adultos. Al mismo tiempo, el progreso tecnológico ha desvinculado casi por completo al trabajo del sudor, es decir, del esfuerzo físico, lo que facilitó considerablemente la incorporación de las mujeres al mercado de trabajo en pie de igualdad con los hombres.

La gran prosperidad permitió también financiar el crecimiento del Estado, y de allí brotó un primer equívoco, a saber, la idea de que los países son ricos porque tienen Estados grandes. En realidad, es al revés. Un segundo equívoco fue creer que las condiciones de trabajo mejoraban gracias a la intervención de los políticos y los legisladores. En realidad, esa coacción puede dar lugar al desempleo, como vemos en España, y a las trabas al enriquecimiento de los ciudadanos debidas a las regulaciones y los impuestos. Así, la reducción de la jornada laboral beneficia a los trabajadores solamente si viene avalada si viene avalada por el crecimiento de la productividad. En

Hotel Fairmont and training of new professionals The Chamber of Commerce of Campo de Gibraltar, Hotel Fairmont La Hacienda and the Council of San Roque successfully collaborated in the organisation and holding of a course to train hotel maids which concluded with the hiring, by the hotel, of almost half of the participating students. This activity was supported by the Chamber of Commerce as part of its Talent 45+ programme, co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus through the Employment, Education, Training, and Social Economy Programme (EFESO) 20212027, benefitting a total of 15 students who received this training aimed at improving their skills and job placements among people over the age of 45 and it ended with a high level of satisfaction among students. The Chamber of Commerce had the collaboration of Hotel Fairmont to provide spaces for carrying out the work experience, as well as of the Work Club of the Council of San Roque for the pre-selection of candidates and the provision of municipal facilities of the course’s theoretical sessions. La Charca conmemora un nuevo aniversario, nada menos que 22 años de unión y actividades en Torreguadiaro La Asociación de Mujeres La Charca ha festejado su 22º aniversario con una entrañable merienda entre sus socias, reafirmando su compromiso con la convivencia y el apoyo mutuo en la localidad. La adversidad como forja del carácter La vida, con su imprevisibilidad, nos coloca en situaciones que no elegimos. Momentos en los que el suelo parece ceder bajo nuestros pies y la única opción aparente es seguir adelante. Sin embargo, en medio de estas tormentas, descubrimos una verdad esencial: la adversidad no solo nos desafía, también nos moldea. Enfrentar dificultades nos obliga a mirar dentro de nosotros mismos, a descubrir fortalezas que desconocíamos y a reconocer nuestras vulnerabilidades. Es en estos momentos cuando el carácter se forja. No en los días tranquilos, sino cuando sentimos el viento en contra y seguimos caminando. Aprendemos que la resiliencia no es innata, sino una musculatura emocional que se entrena a base de caídas, dudas y levantadas. Pero no se trata de avanzar por avanzar. A veces, el mayor acto de valentía es detenerse. Pararse a mitad del camino, respirar hondo y preguntarse: “¿Estoy yendo hacia donde realmente quiero ir?”. Porque no siempre que estamos en movimiento significa que estamos progresando. La pausa cons-

ciente es una herramienta poderosa. Nos da perspectiva. Nos permite recalibrar el rumbo, revisar nuestras motivaciones y reconectar con lo que de verdad importa. En otras ocasiones, la pausa es también una invitación a pedir ayuda. Y qué difícil puede ser esto. Nos han educado muchas veces en la autosuficiencia como virtud, como si necesitar de otros fuese una señal de debilidad. Pero no lo es. Saber que no tenemos todas las respuestas, abrirnos a la mirada de quienes nos rodean, dejarnos sostener un rato… todo eso es profundamente humano y necesario. Nadie cruza las grandes tormentas completamente solo. Todos, sin excepción, enfrentamos adversidades. En lo cotidiano, en lo profesional, en lo íntimo. No hay vida sin dolor, sin incertidumbre o sin pérdidas. Pero también es cierto que no hay transformación sin crisis. Lo que nos distingue no es el hecho de tener problemas, sino cómo elegimos afrontarlos. Quizá hoy estés atravesando uno de esos momentos difíciles. Si es así, tal vez este artículo sea solo

un recordatorio amable: sigue caminando, pero permítete parar. Revisa tu ruta, habla con alguien, abraza la incomodidad y recuerda que todo lo que ahora parece cuesta arriba, un día será parte de tu historia de fortaleza. Porque, aunque no podamos elegir siempre lo que nos ocurre, sí podemos elegir cómo respondemos. Y en esa elección se esconde, muchas veces, el verdadero acto de libertad.

Adversity as character forging Life, with its unpredictability, puts us in situations that we do not choose. Moments in which the ground seems to give way under our feet and the only seeming option is to keep moving forward. However, in the midst of these storms, we discover an essential truth: adversity not only challenges us, but it also shapes us. Facing difficulties forces us to look within ourselves, to discover strengths that we didn’t know and to acknowledge our vulnerabilities. These are the moments when character is forged. Not on calm days, but rather when we feel the wind going against us and we continue walking. We learn that resilience isn’t innate, but rather emotional muscle that is trained through falls, doubts, and getting back up. However, life isn’t about moving forward for the sake of moving forward. Sometimes, the greatest act of bravery is stopping. Stopping in the mi-

ddle of the path, taking a deep breath and asking yourself: “Am I heading towards where I really want to go?” Because moving doesn’t always mean that we are progressing. A mindful rest is a powerful tool. It gives us perspective. It enables us to recalibrate our direction, check our motivations and reconnect with what truly matters. At other times, a rest is also an invitation to ask for help. And how difficult that can be. We have often been taught that self-sufficiency is a virtue, as if needing others was a sign of weakness. But it isn’t. Knowing that we don’t have all the answers, opening up to the perspective of those around us, allowing ourselves to be supported for a while...all of that is deeply human and necessary. Nobody goes through great storms completely alone. We all, without exception, face adversity. In our

daily life, in our professional life, in our private life. There is no life without pain, without uncertainty, or without losses. However, it is also true that there is no transformation without crisis. What distinguishes us isn’t the fact that we have problems, but rather how we choose to tackle them. Perhaps today you are going through one of those difficult times. If that is the case, perhaps this article can be just a nice reminder: keep going but allow yourself to have a rest. Check your route, talk to somebody, embrace discomfort and remember that everything that seems uphill now, will one day be part of your history of strength. Because, even if we can’t always choose what happens to us, we can choose how we respond to it. And often, the true act of freedom is hidden in that choice.

El imponente incremento del valor de la vivienda en zonas ‘prime’ de golf • Un cuidado estudio por diferentes portales inmobiliarios de rigor nacional reflejan el impacto, por encima del 20%, de propiedades vinculadas a campos de golf. Sotogrande y su área de influencia, un referente en este sentido. La ubicación sigue siendo el principal factor que marca la diferencia en el mercado inmobiliario. Y entre las ubicaciones más valoradas, vivir junto a un campo de golf se ha convertido en un claro factor de revalorización. Según datos de portales inmobiliarios como Idealista y Fotocasa, vivir en entornos vinculados al golf puede suponer un incremento de hasta un 20% en el precio de venta respecto a zonas similares sin este tipo de infraestructuras. En municipios como Marbella, este patrón se observa con claridad. La zona de Nueva Andalucía, donde confluyen varios de los campos de golf más reconocidos de la Costa del Sol, presenta un precio medio de 5.683 €/m², frente a los 5.143 €/ m² del centro urbano, según Fotocasa (abril 2025). La gran divulgadora de este estudio, la promotora Taylor Wimpey España, desarrolla proyectos en este sentido y avanza en promociones vinculadas al golf. Se explica que el perfil del comprador que elige este tipo de vivienda suele ser exigente, con un interés cada vez más claro por la ubicación, la orientación y el entorno natural. Según los últimos datos de los registradores, en 2024 las compraventas realizadas por extranjeros representaron ya el 14,6% del total nacional, con una clara concentración en zonas como la Costa del Sol o Valle del Guadiaro. Se trata, en su mayoría, de ciudadanos del norte de Europa —británicos, neerlandeses, belgas, alemanes— que buscan una segunda residencia para disfrutar en vacaciones o durante su jubilación, lejos del tu-

rismo masivo y en contextos de alto confort. Pero también empieza a ganar terreno un comprador más joven, con capacidad de teletrabajo o profesional independiente, que valora entornos tranquilos, bien conectados, donde vivir y desconectar son

La primera actuación se disfrutará el viernes a las 21.00 horas, la D´Dulce, dará comienzo a la noche, un grupo de flamenco pop procedente de la localidad sevillana. San Roque prepares for its big day San Roque celebrates the 319th anniversary of its foundation on 21 May. In addition to the traditional Institutional Plenary of Honours and Distinctions, on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th there will be performances in the Plaza de las Constituciones. Wednesday will be a day of festivities throughout the municipality due to the birthday of the founding of San Roque, with a full day where you can also enjoy a wide range of food trucks, while on Sunday a children’s musical will be performed in the theatre. Mediation: Resolving through the now...without losing your mind (or keys)

Resolver desde el ahora… sin perder el juicio (ni las llaves) ¿Te ha pasado que estás discutiendo con alguien y, sin darte cuenta, estás hablando más del 2018 que de lo que te pasa hoy? O que en medio de una conversación empiezas a hacer planes para una reunión que todavía ni sabes si va a existir, pero ya estás en ella, con PowerPoint incluido. Bienvenida/o al club de los viajeros del tiempo: pasamos del pasado al futuro como si fuéramos Marty McFly, pero sin el DeLorean. Y lo curioso es que, cuando estamos en conflicto, ese viaje resulta aún más frenético. Nos anclamos a lo que “ya pasó” -”¡Tú siempre haces lo mismo!”- o nos lanzamos al abismo de lo que “seguro va a pasar” -”¡Esto no va a terminar bien!”-. Lo único que dejamos fuera del viaje… es el presente. Ese ahora, ignorado como el último trozo de verdura en el plato. ¿Por qué nos cuesta tanto estar en el presente? Porque el pasado viene cargado de reproches con buena memoria, y el futuro nos tienta con escenarios de control imaginario. Pero el único lugar desde el cual realmente podemos actuar, decidir y cambiar algo, definitivamente es el ahora. Aquí es donde la mediación funciona como ese GPS emocional que recalcula tu ruta mental desde el momento presente. No se trata solo de resolver el conflicto, se trata de reescribir el presente con intención, con claridad y, sobre todo, con más paz mental.

¿Y cómo se hace esto? Pues con práctica, sentido del humor y algunas de las siguientes herramientas propias del gestor de conflictos: - Ventila emociones como quien abre las ventanas: Si te lo guardas todo, te ahogas. Pero si lo sueltas bien -sin lanzarlo como una granada -, te liberas. En mediación aprendes a decir “esto me duele” en vez de “tú eres el problema”. El presente agradece.

Or that in the midst of a conversation you begin to make plans for a meeting that you still don’t know is happening, but you are already working on it, including a PowerPoint. Welcome to the time travellers club: we go from the past to the future, like we were Marty McFly, but without the DeLorean. And the strange thing is that, when we are in a conflict, that journey is even more frenetic. We are anchored to what “already happened” - “You always do the same thing!”- or dive into the abyss of “that will definitely happen” - “This won’t end well!”. The only thing we leave out of the journey... is the present. That now, ignored like the last piece of vegetable on the plate. Why is it so hard for us to live in the now? Because the past is loaded with reproaches that are hard to forget, and the future tempts us with scenarios of imaginary control. However, the only place from which we can really act, decide and change something, is definitively the present.

This is where mediation works like that emotional GPS that recalculates your mental route from the present. It isn’t only about resolving the conflict, it is about trying to rewrite the present with intention, clarity and, above all, with more mental peace. And how is this done? Well, with practice, a sense of humour of some of the following tools that are characteristic of a conflict manager: - Vent emotions like somebody who is opening windows: If you keep it all in, you suffocate. But if you release it properly -without launching it like a grenade-, you free yourself. In mediation you learn to say, “this hurts me” rather than “you are the problem.” The present thanks you. - Translate reproaches into requests: A “you never listen to me” can become a “do you think you could take my opinions more into account?” Change the tone, change the music. And, suddenly, there is dialogue instead of drama. - Lower the volume of your inner judge: The one that compares everything with how it used to be or what it should be. The mediation process helps to mute it so you can hear what really matters in the “here and now.” - Apply the “live in the present”: What can you do now that takes you closer, even if it is one step, to the solution? Don’t think about your 37 unanswered emails. Think about the next step to take to progress. So the next time you find yourself thinking over and over about a conversation from years ago or predicting a relationship apocalypse in 2027, breathe, come down and ask yourself: What can I do now to be better...here and now? Because ultimately, the present isn’t only a gift (as the famous phrase says), is the only place where things truly change and transform.

Una vez finalizada la entrega de premios, los asistentes disfrutaron de una lectura de poesías a cargo de alumnos de 6º de Primaria, cerrándose el acto con la intervención del Coro del Colegio.

Cirugía bariátrica: una solución eficaz para combatir el sobrepeso La cirugía bariátrica es una intervención quirúrgica orientada a la pérdida de sobrepeso y a la corrección de comorbilidades como la hipertensión y la diabetes, en la que el paciente puede llegar a experimentar una reducción de entre el 20% y 40% de su peso corporal. El doctor Enrique Aycart, jefe

del servicio de Cirugía General y Aparato Digestivo de los hospitales Quirónsalud Campo de Gibraltar y Marbella, y el doctor Daniel Palomo tienen una dilatada experiencia en tratar a pacientes con obesidad y cuenta con un equipo multidisciplinar que evalúa y ofrece la solución más eficiente al paciente según sus

necesidades específicas. “En Quirónsalud Campo de Gibraltar tenemos establecido un circuito especial preoperatorio, en el cual nuestros pacientes son evaluados por los servicios de Digestivo y Nutrición, además de una valoración por parte de Cardiología, Neumología y Anestesia, para optimizar las condiciones del paciente antes de ser intervenido. También pasan por el servicio de Psicología, debido a que tenemos que asegurarnos que el paciente no tenga un comportamiento anómalo con la alimentación (como bulimias o anorexias), cuyo desconocimiento puede desembocar en problemas de no ser capaces de hacer un seguimiento de la dieta una vez que el paciente sea operado. Luego, el endocrino también realiza una valoración para detectar si existe alguna otra patología hormonal o hipoti-

roidismo que haga coger peso al paciente. En definitiva, es un circuito previo por el que el paciente pasa para que podamos estudiar su caso y certificar si debe someterse a cirugía o si, por el contrario, con un tratamiento previo podemos evitar su paso por el quirófano”, manifiesta el especialista. Cuando el paciente pasa por este circuito especial y su caso particular precisa de intervención, la mejor opción es la cirugía bariátrica. Sobre este procedimiento, el doctor Aycart afirma que “la cirugía bariátrica es la operación que realizamos en pacientes con obesidad que tienen índice de masa corporal superior a 35. En este tipo de cirugías hacemos normalmente un bypass gástrico o manga gástrica, dependiendo del tipo de paciente, la patología que arrastre o del comportamiento

alimentario que tenga. Es una cirugía muy segura y en 2-3 días el paciente está de vuelta en casa”. Un aspecto que tienen claro es que esta intervención se realiza por problemas patológicos y en ningún caso por motivos estéticos. “La cirugía bariátrica no es una intervención estética, sino que es un procedimiento que se emprende a causa de una patología derivada de la obesidad. Es una cirugía que ayuda a mejorar la calidad de vida de los pacientes, porque su movilidad está deteriorada, las articulaciones sufren mucho por el sobrepeso, el corazón tiene que trabajar para bombear sangre para muchos más kilos de los debidos, incluso el doble en algunos casos, y eso a la larga tiene unas consecuencias negativas para el paciente”, aclara Enrique Aycart.

El torneo decidirá a la ganadora de la Orden de Mérito y contará con 72 profesionales y las tres mejores amateurs españolas, que competirán por el Premio Celia Barquín. Ayala Polo Club cuenta desde el 2020 con la gestión y organización de la temporada alta de polo en Sotogrande. Este año se disputará el 54º Torneo Internacional de polo con los 22 goles que ya se habían vuelto a incorporar pasadas ediciones. Una apuesta que incrementa aún más el nivel y la calidad de este deporte que desfilarán el próximo agosto en las canchas de la Ayala Polo en Sotogrande. Un paso más al frente desde que asumiese la gestión de la temporada de polo en Sotogrande, con Paola Zobel al frente. Destacar también la presentación de todo el calendario oficial de competiciones para el 2025 que perfila nada menos que cinco meses de polo de grandísima calidad. Una agenda que comienza en mayo y que se alarga hasta mediados de septiembre. Además del Torneo Internacional de Polo (con Alto, Mediano y Bajo

From 19 to 22 June, La Hacienda Links Golf Resort is hosting the Gasol Foundation Golf Invitational, the first charity tournament organised by Pau Gasol in order to raise money to prevent children’s obesity.

The basketball legend, Pau Gasol, will bring together a notable group of figures from sport and the business world to celebrate the Gasol Foundation Golf Invitational, an amateur golf tournament created with the aim of raising funds to prevent childhood obesity and provide visibility for one of the greatest public health challenges at present, both globally and in Spain. The event will take place from 19 to 22 June at La Hacienda Links Golf Resort and at Hotel Fairmont La Hacienda Costa del Sol, located in the Cadiz municipalities of La Línea and San Roque. National U12 Touch Rugby Tournament gets underway in San Roque •

This weekend, San Roque Rugby Club is holding the U12 National Tournament at the local stadium, an event presented this Friday and sponsored by the Council.

On 17 and 18 May, San Roque will host the National U12 Touch Rugby Tournament at the premises of Santa María Polo Club. The competition will bring together 30 clubs and 48 teams, with close to 800 players under the age of 12 and over one thousand delegates and ac-

companying staff. The tournament, organised by San Roque Rugby Club with the support of the Council, will involve eight natural grass pitches, a warm up area, social area with accreditations, official shop, catering, and healthcare services -including a hospital tent and two ambulances. The official opening with the media will take place on Saturday at 10 am and the matches will take place on both days from 10 am to 3 pm. At the end, medals and trophies will be awarded for categories such as “Fair play”, “Rugby values” and the “Best fans” in a staggered event to prevent crowds.
