Hausmann has extensive experience in pre-bond and post-bond services. We often partner with school districts as they approach a vote for construction funds from the community, increasing exposure to the project and providing our expertise to ensure a successful election.
After your bond passes, we continue our interaction with your community through a variety of forums. Our commitment to the construction industry extends beyond single projects into the entire spectrum of individuals impacted by a build, and we are dedicated to excellence in our projects.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Attend, speak, and present at community meetings, go door-to-door to inform district residents, and hold tours for students and community members throughout the construction process.

Site analysis, master plans, building standards, design decisions, life-cycle costs, detailed budgets and estimates, value engineering, constructability reviews, schedule and permitting information.
Classrooms are not the only place where students learn. At Hausmann, we understand that handson experience is a relevant pathway for youth to explore their interests, connect ideas with action, and develop personal career goals; we created Hausmann YOUniversity to facilitate that exploration. With significant employment opportunities available within the industry — with or without secondary education — we want to prioritize the development of students in the fields of construction, manufacturing, and design.
Hausmann YOUniversity creates opportunities for construction industry awareness, exploration, preparation, and eventual career advancement. Partnering with school staff, we generate ageappropriate engagement activities to provide students at our construction sites with handson opportunities during the course of a reallife build. Our goal is to immerse students of all ages in portions of the project, and we are happy to partner with school staff toward that end. Some student engagement ideas are listed to the right.
