ESPAÑOL Luisa Carbó es una artista española con un estilo muy especial, que combina el realismo mágico con toques impresionistas. “Desde pequeña me ha apasionado el dibujo y la pintura, así como todo lo relacionado con el arte material, me encantaba ver cómo un trozo de hierro, madera o arcilla podía convertirse en verdaderas esculturas, me atraía todo este mundo del arte. A los 13 años, el pintor Luis García Oliver me enseñó a observar las proporciones y a dibujar de forma realista con lápices de colores. Más tarde estudié el dibujo con carboncillo y con modelos naturales. En mis viajes, recuerdo Cuba, su gente, sus colores, o la India, que aún hoy me asombra, con muy buen sabor de boca. Retomé mi pasión en 2001, y hasta ahora cada día que pasa es para mí un reto y un nuevo descubrimiento. Pinto con acuarelas, tintas, acrílico, óleo, lápices de colores y collage. También me encanta la escultura y voy al taller de una gran escultora Marta Moreu, me fascina el tratamiento del cuerpo humano a través del barro al igual que con la pintura. Siempre intento transmitir lo que siente mi corazón”. Luisa Carbó ENGLISH Luisa Carbó is a Spanish artist with a very special style, that combines the magic of Realism with Impressionistic details. “Since I was a child I have been passionate about drawing and painting, as well as everything related to material art. I loved to see how a piece of iron, wood or clay could become real sculptures. I was attracted to this whole world of art. At the age of 13, the painter Luis García Oliver taught me to observe the proportions and to draw in a realistic way with colored pencils. Later, I studied drawing with charcoal and with natural models. In my travels, I remember Cuba, its people, its colors; or India, which still amazes me today, with a very good taste in my mouth. I took up my passion again in 2001, and so far every day that passes is for me a challenge and a new discovery. I paint with watercolors, inks, acrylic, oil, colored pencils, and collage. I also love sculpture and I go to the workshop of a great sculptor Marta Moreu. I am fascinated by the treatment of the human body through clay as well as with painting.
