Aaron Izquierdo es un artista español con un trabajo que juega entre el realismo mágico y el surrealismo mezclado con elementos “Pop”. Sus líneas fi nas y bien defi nidas otorgan gran calidad a su obra. Su trabajo se nutre bajo las infl uencias del pop surrealista, la ilustración fantástica y el manga japonés, que tanto infl uenció a su generación. Sus obras han sido premiadas en diversos certámenes nacionales e internacionales de cartelería y pintura. «Comencé mi trayectoria estudiando Ilustración en la Escuela de Arte de Toledo. Aunque estuve involucrado en proyectos artísticos siento que aparté esta faceta de forma profesional, no fue hasta el 2017 que me volví a reencontrar con el arte y comencé a participar más activamente en su creación. Con la intención de no buscar el realismo, para que mis pinturas parezcan pinturas utilizó fondos planos o elementos simbólicos. Mis trabajos discurren por diferentes corrientes artísticas como el pop surrealista, sin dejar de lado el infl ujo que el manga ha dejado en mi generación».

Aaron Izquierdo is a Spanish artist who creates works that plays between magical Realism and Surrealism mixed with “Pop” elements. His fi ne and well-defi ned lines give great quality to his work. His work is nurtured under the infl uences of Surreal pop, fantasy illustration, and Japanese manga, which so infl uenced his generation. His works have been awarded various national and international poster and painting competitions. “I began my career studying Illustration at the Toledo School of Art. Although I was involved in artistic projects, I feel that I removed this facet in a professional way. It was not until 2017 that I found myself again with art and began to participate more actively in its creation. With the intention of not looking for Realism, so that my paintings look like paintings I use fl at backgrounds or symbolic elements. My works run through diff erent artistic currents such as Surrealist pop, without neglecting the infl uence that manga has left on my generation.”
