In questo numero di Seasonings Italia ci sono tante mappe stradali: percorsi che girano tra i luoghi del Salone del Mobile e i suoi protagonisti, come il regista Matteo Garrone, che ci ha raccontato del suo nuovo cortometraggio creato in occasione della manifestazione. Oltre ovviamente ad un rettilineo immaginario che collega Milano e Firenze, da percorrere con le auto d’epoca del servizio Sulle strade della Dolce Vita, che tocca anche l’hotel di Cap-Ferrat, oppure in treno, proprio come fa il nostro Chef Executive Vito Mollica.

Fino al 29 marzo all’Opera di Firenze Il flauto magico di Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in un nuovo allestimento al limite con il surrealismo, diretto da Damiano Michieletto. Domenica 2 aprile i mondi immaginifici di Vinicio Capossela irrompono sul palco del Teatro Verdi, per un live da non perdere. Un’opera originale suonata insieme alla Bohemian Symphony Orchestra di Praga: sabato 8 aprile all’Opera di Firenze, Max Gazzè con il suo progetto artistico più innovativo: Alchemaya. “Oronero Tour” è il titolo del nuovo live di una delle voci più acclamate della nostra penisola: Giorgia, on stage giovedì 13 aprile al Nelson Mandela Forum. Aprile è anche il mese che inaugura la nuova stagione dell’ 80° Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, da non perdere: lunedì 24 aprile la grande apertura diretta dal Maestro Zubin Mehta, sul palco dell’Opera di Firenze.

Stessa sera per Carmen Consoli, al Teatro della Pergola. Mercoledì 26 aprile stop al Teatro Verdi, per l’inedito live dei Simple Minds. Da venerdì 5 a domenica 14 maggio, il Maggio Musicale Fiorentino ci porta nel cuore dell’opera di Giuseppe Verdi con Don Carlo. Staged at Opera di Firenze until March 29 is The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in a new production bordering on surrealism, directed by Damiano Michieletto.

On Sunday, April 2, Vinicio Capossela will perform live at the Verdi Theatre. On Saturday, April 8 at Opera di Firenze, Max Gazzè presents his most innovative artistic project, Alchemaya, performed with the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra of Prague. Giorgia, one of the most popular Italian singers, is travelling Italy with her Oronero Tour and will be performing in Florence on Thursday, April 13, at the Nelson Mandela Forum.

April is also the month that marks the opening of the 80th Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Festival, a not-to-miss event. On Monday, April 24, the opening concert, at Opera di Firenze, will be conducted by Maestro Zubin Mehta. On the same night, Carmen Consoli will be performing at the Pergola Theatre. On Wednesday, April 26, the live concert by Simple Minds at the Verdi Theatre. From Friday, May 5 to Sunday, May 14, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Festival will stage the Don Carlo by Giuseppe Verdi.

Theater. Considerato il più grande successo nella storia del musical internazionale, Notre Dame de Paris giunge al Nelson Mandela Forum con il suo cast originale, da giovedì 11 a domenica 14 maggio. Domenica 21 maggio all’Opera di Firenze un viaggio nella musica di Johannes Brahms e Charles Ives guidato da uno dei direttori d’orchestra più celebri: Thierry Fischer. Giovedì 25 maggio sempre all’Opera di Firenze, la prima esecuzione assoluta del concerto azzurro di Stefano Bollani con l’Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino diretta da Kristjan Järvi.

Giugno a Firenze significa solo una cosa: grandi live. Mercoledì 14 giugno, Visarno Arena, un nome che non ha bisogno di essere presentato: Radiohead, open act James Blake. Una fusione di rock, musica alternative, elettronica, pop e psichedelia, assolutamente da non perdere.

Venerdì 23 giugno è la volta di Firenze Rocks, il primo festival dedicato al rock in città, in line up Deaf Havana, Placebo e Aerosmith, sabato 24 Eddie Vedder e The Cranberries e domenica 25 giugno l’energia dei System Of A Down e Prophets of Rage. Sullo stesso celebre palco dal 31 marzo fino al 23 aprile, una delle tragedie liriche più apprezzate al mondo, Anna Bolena di Gaetano Donizzetti, diretta da Ion Marin. Dj, produttore, compositore tedesco fra i più apprezzati della scena dance, Fritz Kalkbrenner farà ballare l’intero Fabrique, sabato 1 aprile. Fino al 2 aprile al Teatro Franco Parenti Sogno d’autunno di Valerio Binasco, sul palco Giovanna Mezzogiorno.

Martedì 4 aprile al Teatro degli Arcimboldi con “L’amore e la violenza tour”, l’atteso ritorno dei Baustelle. Destinazione Fabrique per un’altra serata tutta da ballare, lunedì 17 aprile è il turno di Sean Paul. Giovedì 27 aprile al Teatro degli Arcimboldi in versione rigorosamente acustica il sound unico dei Simple Minds. Da giovedì 4 a domenica 7 maggio Fabrizio Gifuni si fa interprete di Il Dio di Roserio, al Teatro Franco Parenti. Attore di Broadway, star di MTV, finalista di American Idol, Todrick Hall arriva al Mediolanum Forum d’Assago mercoledì 23 maggio con la rivisitazione del grande classico Il Mago di Oz di L.Frank Baum. Regina dell’indie folk americano, giovedì 1 giugno Angel Olsen alla Salumeria della Musica. Per la regia di Franco Zeffirelli, al Teatro alla Scala La Bohème di Giacomo Puccini, dal 7 giugno al 14 luglio.

L’appuntamento è per giovedì 15 giugno al Mediolanum Forum d’Assago, on stage uno dei fenomeni musicali di tutti i tempi: Bruno Mars e il suo 24K Magic World Tour. Ancora un grande nome della musica italiana e internazionale: il 16, 17 e 19 giugno allo Stadio San Siro di Milano, lo spettacolo in musica di Tiziano Ferro.

E ancora nel mese di giugno: Kings of Leon all’Ippodromo Snai di San Siro il 21 giugno e i leggendari Depeche Mode live allo Stadio San Siro il 27 giugno. A luglio le due attesissime date dei Coldplay, il 3 e 4 allo Stadio di San Siro e a settembre, la grandissima Lady Gaga, il 26 al Mediolanum Forum di Assago.

Firenze. La Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi presenta Bill Viola, una grande retrospettiva che celebra le opere del maestro indiscusso della videoarte contemporanea in dialogo con grandi capolavori del Rinascimento (fino al 23 luglio). Un dialogo fitto e appassionato, che inizia a Palazzo Strozzi attraverso opere della sua produzione dagli anni Settanta a oggi, e prosegue nella città di Firenze e in tutta la Toscana attraverso collaborazioni con musei e luoghi del territorio dove saranno esposte opere dell’artista, esaltando il suo rapporto con la storia e l’arte toscana, tra cui la Galleria degli Uffizi e il Museo di Santa Maria Novella a Firenze e il Museo della Collegiata di Sant’Andrea a Empoli.

In occasione della rassegna Palazzo Strozzi ha inoltre creato un’esclusiva collaborazione con il Grande Museo del Duomo di Firenze: qui saranno eccezionalmente esposti i video Observance (2002) e Acceptance (2008), due celebri opere di Bill Viola dedicate ai temi del dolore e della sofferenza esaltando la riflessione sull’umanità e sul senso religioso nel mondo contemporaneo, che saranno messe in relazione con due simboli del museo fiorentino come la Maddalena penitente di Donatello e la Pietà Bandini di Michelangelo. Fino al prossimo 30 aprile, nella Sala del Camino delle Gallerie degli Uffizi sarà presentato al pubblico, dopo il restauro, il trittico raffigurante La Resurrezione

Viola’s artistic production from the seventies to the present day is further enhanced by fostering a dialogue between his works and masterpieces by great Renaissance artists and by the Palazzo Strozzi exhibition’s interaction with other Florentine and Tuscan museums, including the Uffizi Gallery and the Museum of Santa Maria Novella in Florence and the Museum of the Collegiata di Sant’Andrea in Empoli, where Viola’s works will be shown to underline the artist’s deep connection with Tuscan art and history. Plautilla Nelli. Arte e devozione in convento sulle orme di Savonarola fino al 4 giugno trova un palco d’eccezione: la Galleria delle Statue e delle Pitture. Il ritrovamento tra Firenze, Siena, Perugia e Assisi di una serie di cinque dipinti realizzati da Plautilla Nelli (1522-1588), tutti raffiguranti l’immagine di una santa domenicana ritratta a mezzo busto di profilo, costituisce un nuovo importante tassello nella ricostruzione dell’attività artistica della suora pittrice. Altra donna ma molti secoli dopo: Maria Lassnig: Woman Power. Una mostra imperdibile ospitata a Palazzo Pitti nell’Andito degli Angiolini fino 25 giugno 2017. Maria Lassnig (1919 - 2014) è tra le artiste più significative della seconda metà del XX secolo, insieme a Luoise Bourgeois e Joan Mitchell. Seguono, sempre agli Uffizi: Facciamo presto! Marche 2016 - 2017: tesori salvati, tesori da salvare, Uffizi, Aula Magliabechiana fino al 30 luglio.

L’Adorazione dei Magi di Leonardo da Vinci torna agli Uffizi dal 28 marzo fino a fine settembre dopo sei anni dedicati al restauro e alle indagini conoscitive. Con l’Adorazione dei Magi di Leonardo, viene esposta anche la versione eseguita da Filippino Lippi nel 1496, 23

Plautilla Nelli. Art and Devotion in the Convent in Savonarola’s Footsteps is the exhibition showing at the Uffizi’s Gallery of Statues and Paintings until June 4. The recovery between Florence, Siena, Perugia and Assisi of a series of five paintings by Plautilla Nelli (15221588), all representing the half-length portrait in profile of a Dominican female saint, provides rare and valuable insight into the artistic life of this nun and painter. Another female artist, but many centuries later: Maria Lassnig: Woman Power. A must-see exhibition held at Palazzo Pitti’s Andito degli Angiolini until June 25, 2017. Maria Lassnig (1919 - 2014) is one of the most important female artists of the twentieth century, along with Louise Bourgeois and Joan Mitchell.

On show at the Uffizi Gallery’s Aula Magliabechiana until July 30 is the exhibition We Must Make Haste! Marche 2016-17: Treasures Rescued and Treasures Still to Rescue.

Sempre a Palazzo Reale, dal 3 marzo al 2 luglio sarà ospitata la mostra Manet e la Parigi moderna, una grande esposizione che attraverso 50 capolavori di Manet, Renoir, Degas e altri maestri racconta la Parigi di fine Ottocento.

Infine Dentro Caravaggio, dal 28 settembre al 29 gennaio proporrà in una prospettiva inedita sull’immensa pittura di Michelangelo Merisi. Il Mudec rende omaggio a Vasilij Kandinskij il cavalier errante dal 15 marzo fino al 2 luglio.

Un’inedita mostra che indaga il rapporto tra arte e scienza e la metafora del viaggio. Saranno esposte opere provenienti dai più importanti musei russi, alcune delle quali mai viste prima in Italia. Il PAC Padiglione d’Arte Contemporanea apre la propria stagione con la prima rassegna antologica mai realizzata in Italia dedicata all’artista spagnolo Santiago Sierra, mentre la GAM, Galleria d’Arte Moderna presenta 100 anni, una mostra che racconta la storia della scultura attraverso 100 opere di grandi maestri, dal 1815 alla fine della Prima Guerra Mondiale. Nel 2019 sarà il cinquecentesimo anniversario della morte di Leonardo da Vinci. In questo solco si pone l’esposizione di Sixty Last Supper, la famosa interpretazione dell’Ultima Cena di Leonardo da Vinci realizzata da Andy Warhol nel 1986, in mostra nella splendida Sala Fontana del Museo del Novecento a partire dal 24 marzo.

In the wake of the celebrations of the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s death in 2019, the Twentieth-Century Museum will show Sixty Last Supper, Andy Warhol’s famous 1986 version of the Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci, on display in the Sala Fontana from March 24.

STORIE DI BOSCHI E DESIGN Matteo Garrone racconta il cortometraggio realizzato per il Salone del Mobile Tells about the short film shot for the International Furniture Fair

Matteo Garrone, regista italiano conosciuto principalmente per film come Gomorra, Reality e Il Racconto dei Racconti l’anno scorso ha raccontato per la prima volta il design in un cortometraggio intenso e fiabesco di sette minuti. Questa volta la sua creatività l’ha portato ad ambientare la storia dentro a un bosco, trasportandovi scene di vita quotidiana. L’opera, parte del progetto “DeLightFuL” presentato alla 56esima edizione del Salone del Mobile di Milano, è stata realizzata tra i boschi di Chia, in provincia di Viterbo nell’alto Lazio. Una location che il regista ha definito “straordinaria” ricordando che questi luoghi furono amati anche da Pasolini che, oltre a scegliere di vivere nella Torre che si trova proprio in quell’area, decise anche di girare qui le prime sequenze del film Il Vangelo secondo Matteo.

Signore che giocano a carte sospese sul fiume, una coppia che cena vicino a una cascata… Da quali riflessioni e da quali esigenze narrative è nata la scelta di ambientare questo nuovo lavoro nell’atmosfera sospesa del bosco?

Diciamo che mi piaceva l’idea di ipotizzare anche questa volta una sorta di futuro, però invece che post atomico come è stato per il primo racconto, in un futuro che fosse un ritorno all’essenziale, quindi legato al contatto con la natura. Così ho immaginato degli interni dove non ci fosse più separazione tra il dentro e il fuori. Il bosco è un luogo magico, 29

For the first time last year, Matteo Garrone, the Italian film director best-known for the acclaimed films Gomorrah and The Tale of Tales, explored the world of design in an intense and fairy tale-like seven-minute film.

His creative imagination has driven him to set the story in a wood, where scenes of everyday life unfold.

The short film, which is part of the DeLightFuL project introduced at the 56th International Furniture Fair of Milan, was shot in the woods of Chia, near Viterbo, in the Upper Lazio region.

A location which the film director described as “extraordinary”, and he mentioned that Pasolini was particularly fond of those places, choosing to live in a nearby tower and shoot the first scenes of his film The Gospel According to St. Matthew exactly in that area.

Ladies playing cards while hanging in midair over the river, a couple dining near a waterfall…What reflections and narrative reasons inspired you to set the film in the suspended atmosphere of a wood?

Let’s say that I enjoyed the idea of imagining a sort of future again, but instead of a postatomic future like in the first story, a future seen as a return to essential living, thus, in close contact with nature.

So I imagined interiors having no separation between the inside and outside. The wood is a magical place, fit for the purpose of

Deve essere stato un bell’impegno trasportare mobili e oggetti di design attraverso sentieri e dirupi, visto che avete girato in un bosco vero e proprio?

Sì, ma soprattutto è stata l’incognita del meteo.

Abbiamo girato d’inverno. Per allestire tutti i set occorrevano giorni e giorni di lavorazione e quindi c’era il rischio che potesse piovere da un momento all’altro. Poi per fortuna le cose sono andate bene e ce la siamo cavata senza troppi intoppi.

Qual è il suo rapporto personale con l’arredamento e il décor?

Il mio rapporto con la mobilia è soprattutto di tipo affettivo, scelgo mobili che hanno avuto una parte importante nella mia vita, legati a degli affetti, a persone della mia famiglia o perché sono stati protagonisti di alcuni miei film, come il mappamondo gigante di Storia romana, il divano de L’imbalsamatore, le lampade di Reality... Ogni film mi lascia sempre qualcosa. L’arredamento dei luoghi dove vivo,

describing this feeling and, at the same time, a background that highlights the furniture, which is the real protagonist of the story.

It must have been quite difficult to transport furniture and design objects along narrow paths and cliffs, since you shot the film in a real wood.

Yes, it was. But my main concern was the weather. I shot the film in wintertime and it took days and days to get the sets ready, so I was afraid it was going to rain down on us any minute. Luckily enough, it didn’t rain and things went smoothly.

What kind of relationship do you have with furniture and interior design?

My relationship with furniture is a sentimental one, that is, I choose pieces of furniture that have a sentimental value to me, because they have been an important part of my life, they remind me of my loved ones, of family members, or because I have used them in my films, such as the huge map of the world in Roman Summer, the sofa of The Embalmer, the lamps of Reality…

Vedere il design da una nuova prospettiva Viewing design from a new perspective casa e ufficio, sono legati soprattutto a delle scelte molto emozionali e a legami affettivi senza una precisa linea stilistica. È vero che sta pensando ad un nuovo film?

Di cosa si tratta, può anticiparci qualcosa?

Sarà una versione di Pinocchio tutta italiana.

Toni Servillo interpreterà il ruolo di Geppetto. È ancora un po’ presto per parlarne… Sarà un film molto complesso sotto tanti punti di vista, ci vorrà del tempo...

Perché un film su Pinocchio?

Mi sono accorto che sono in pochi ad aver veramente letto il testo di Collodi; anche io, tolti alcuni ricordi d’infanzia, confesso di averlo letto tardi, e quando l’ho fatto mi sono accorto che c’erano tanti dettagli, particolari, intrecci che non ricordavo e che mi hanno sorpreso.

Il racconto di Collodi le è stato di ispirazione come è avvenuto per molti registi prima di lei?

Penso che sarà un Pinocchio fedele a quello di Collodi e di conseguenza diverso da tutto quello che è stato fatto prima, perché spesso sono state fatte scelte piuttosto discutibili a partire da Walt Disney. Ecco, il mio intento è di essere più fedele possibile all’anima del racconto originale di Collodi.

Is it true that you are working on a new film? What is it about, can you tell us something more?

It is going to be an all-Italian version of Pinocchio. Toni Servillo will be playing the role of Geppetto. It is still too soon to talk about it…It is going to be a very complex film in many respects, it will take time…

Why a film on Pinocchio?

I realized that few are those who have really read Collodi’s book. I myself read it for the first time relatively late in life, and when I did read it, I realized that there were so many details and plots that I remembered nothing about and surprised me.

Did Collodi’s story inspire you, just like many film directors before you?

I think it is going to be a Pinocchio faithful to Collodi’s original version and, therefore, different from all the other versions so far, which are quite questionable, starting with the Walt Disney film. It is my intention to stay as true as possible to the essence of Collodi’s original story.

FUORISALONE CONSISTS OF THE OFF-FAIR EVENTS SCATTERED ACROSS THE CITY

The Four Seasons Hotel Firenze urban resort is made up of two magnificent buildings: the Renaissance Palazzo Della Gherardesca and La Villa, a former sixteenth-century convent and now an elegant “hotel within the hotel”, with a separate lobby, reception and entrance, 37 rooms and suites, one of Florence’s most beautiful private event spaces and an enchanting garden, enclosed within wing walls and with a big arch leading into the Gherardesca Park.

We had a tour of this temple of hospitality guided by Barbara Amato, the new Villa Manager.

We are already impressed with the lobby, even before seeing the rooms.

Each of our rooms and suite rooms has its own personality, just like people do, and represents a different interpretation of the concept of elegance. The Garden Suite is an apartment separate from the main building, with a private garden flanked by tall bushes that ensure total privacy, a terrace for exclusive use by guests and a special bathtub set at floor level.

What is your golden rule?

Our golden rule is to be surprising. Thanks to our butler team, the only thing guests have to worry about is to enjoy their stay and the Pic Nic Packet waiting for them in their rooms. In addition to satisfying any express wish, the most important thing is to be able to sense the desires and tastes of our guests, in order, for instance, to surprise them with their favorite flowers on their birthday. Parliamo un po’ di lei. Come è stato entrare nel mondo di Four Seasons Hotel?

Non sono toscana, sono di Salerno, ma tutte le chiamate arrivavano da Firenze, quindi ho detto “è destino” e solo dopo un anno ho avuto la fortuna di realizzare il mio sogno, quello di lavorare nella catena alberghiera più lussuosa al mondo. Un bel traguardo, anzi un bell’inizio…

Where is it?

It is the portion of garden located between Palazzo Della Gherardesca and La Villa, which our guests adore. It is the setting of many spectacular wedding receptions, with Brunelleschi’s dome in the background (the same view you get from Via Capponi). Our beautiful garden is the one that inspired the fragrances specifically created by Dr. Vranjes for La Villa, Il Giardino delle Rose.

Tell us something about yourself. What was it like to join the Four Seasons Hotel world?

I am not Tuscan born, I come from Salerno, but I kept receiving job offers from Florence, so I said to myself “it is meant to be”, and one year later I was able to fulfill my dream of working for the world’s most luxurious hotel chain. A nice goal, or rather, a good start…

Un’ora e quaranta minuti di treno separano Milano e Firenze. Giusto il tempo per guardare un po’ il mondo, leggere sul tablet le notizie fondamentali, rispondere a qualche telefonata rapida e la stazione d’arrivo si profila all’orizzonte. Ed è il momento di prendere il soprabito e prepararsi a scendere.

Da quanto tempo si “moltiplica” tra Firenze e Milano?

Dai giorni dell’Expo di Milano, a maggio saranno dunque due anni. Un’esperienza che sicuramente mi dà tanto, un’occasione rara…

Ci sono altri Chef Executive Four Seasons Hotel che, come lei, sono alla guida di due brigate?

A dire il vero penso proprio di esser l’unico… anche se alcuni dei colleghi che lavorano negli Stati Uniti percorrono ogni giorno molti più chilometri di me. Vero che lo fanno guidando in auto extra-comfort, ma impiegano molto più tempo di me, che mi sposto sicuro e sereno.

Come definirebbe questo suo “sdoppiarsi”?

Un privilegio, perché ho l’opportunità rara di condividere e vivere due città e due cucine, due splendidi gruppi di lavoro e due modi di vivere.

Qual è la differenza fondamentale, almeno in cucina?

Firenze, nella mia esperienza, è sicuramente più leisure, più declinata secondo il ritmo del tempo libero, della cura di sé e delle passioni; Milano è certo più business, adeguandosi a un sommarsi di eventi, impegni e incontri d’affari.

Tuttavia una cifra comune c’è…

Certo, l’aspettativa del miglior menù che si può trovare in città. In ognuna delle due, naturalmente. Perché fondamentale è la scelta dei prodotti che è sottinteso siano di 65

I believe I am the only one so far…. although some of my fellow chefs in the United States cover many more kilometers than I do.

They travel in very comfortable cars, but they travel longer than I do, and I safely and peacefully commute by train.

How would you describe this “doubling” yourself?

Pochi dubbi… le due brigate di cucina, che naturalmente comprendono anche i pasticceri. A Milano sono 32 persone tutto l’anno, mentre a Firenze - che segue tempi più peculiari - si passa da 26 a 36, numeri che negli ultimi anni hanno visto incrementare la presenza femminile.

Lei ha sempre sottolineato il valore delle brigate di Four Seasons Hotel e in questi due anni non ha cambiato opinione…

Certamente no, perché ogni stagione ci offre l’occasione, che cogliamo in modo aperto e pronto ai suggerimenti e tentativi, di creare nuovi piatti che costruiamo pensando soprattutto ai nostri ospiti. Quando iniziamo a progettare e sperimentare lo facciamo riflettendo sugli ospiti e sulle loro esigenze.

E questo a cosa ha condotto?

A pietanze originali e adeguate alla città e ai nostri ospiti. Per Milano è importante la rapidità del servizio, l’attenzione ai bisogni dell’incontro corporate, la proposta ottimale di un banqueting e di un coffee break. Per Firenze il tono è piuttosto quello social, fatto di cene per eventi, festeggiamenti di diversa natura.

Esiste una parola d’ordine, nelle sue cucine?

What do you believe is crucial to working successfully in Florence and Milan at the same time?

Without doubt, the two kitchen brigades, which include the pastry chefs, of course.

In Milan, we have 32 people working all year round, while in Florence the kitchen staff ranges from 26 to 36 professionals, with a considerable increase in female employment in the past few years.

You have always highlighted the value of your Four Seasons Hotel brigades and you have not changed your mind over the past two years…

Of course not, because every season offers us the chance to design and create new dishes with our guests in mind.

When we start planning and experimenting all together, we do it without ever losing sight of our guests and their needs.

And what does this lead to?

To a variety of original dishes that suit the city and our guests. In Milan, what counts is quick customer service, attention to the needs of corporate clients, offering banqueting menus and coffee breaks.

In Florence, there is a more socializing atmosphere, made up of dinner parties and celebration of various events.

Nel segno di una tradizione consolidata come quella della Pasqua in Italia, fatta di primizie e di attenzione ai prodotti caratterizzati dal “chilometro zero” come garanzia di freschezza ed eccellenza, le brigate che lavorano con lo chef stellato Vito Mollica hanno una volta di più superato le proprie capacità e presentano agli ospiti di Four Seasons Italy due menu invitanti e raffinati, profumati di primavera e adatti anche ai gusti dei più piccoli.

E proprio pensando ai più piccini il Brunch de Il Teatro, in quel di Milano, propone uno speciale menu e insieme con un laboratorio di pasticceria, una caccia alle uova e una vera e propria sessione di Pet Therapy con cuccioli e pulcini.

Ricette che riflettono la cucina lombarda, reinventandola e riportandola all’essenziale, come accade anche per il menu fiorentino, dove le pietanze sono scelte e accompagnate da verdure calibrate e preparate secondo ricette innovative. Inutile dire che i dolci, sempre una sorpresa di delicatezza e morbidezze, sono reinterpretazioni della tradizionale colomba pasquale, simbolo di pace e di vita ma comunque in perfetto stile Four Seasons Hotel.

In keeping with Easter’s celebration of new life and springtime, Michelin-starred chef Vito Mollica and his extraordinary kitchen brigades have excelled themselves by presenting Four Seasons Italy’s guests with two inviting and sophisticated menus, based on the use of fresh, seasonal, locally-sourced and top-quality ingredients, bursting with the aromas of spring and adapted to suit children’s taste buds.

Especially designed with children in mind is the Brunch of Il Teatro restaurant in Milan, which treats the little ones to a special menu, along with a pastry lab, an egg hunt and a Pet Therapy session with baby pets and chicks.

Vito Mollica’s recipes reflect traditional Lombard and Tuscan cuisine, with excellent but simple main courses accompanied by well-balanced and creatively prepared side dishes of fresh vegetables.

Needless to say, desserts, unexpected treasures of delicacy and softness, are all reinterpretations of traditional Italian Easter Colomba cake, the symbol of peace and life, but always in the Four Seasons Hotel signature style.
