Budget Process Underway
2025-26 FISCAL YEAR PLANNING CONTINUES THROUGH SUMMER
The budget process for the upcoming fiscal year began on February 25 with a Strategic Planning session where the City Council met to discuss their vision for Farmers Branch. During the session, Council identified the strategic focus areas that will guide future City services, projects, and programs.
The City’s budget process will continue over the next several months with several budget discussions, meetings, and a Town Hall Meeting. In September, a budget public hearing will take place followed by budget adoption.

This month, celebrate Arab American Heritage Month by reading a book set in the Middle East or North Africa.
This free six-week course is designed to equip you with essential self-defense skills. Topics will include identifying threats, understanding self-defense statistics, and mastering physical techniques.
