2. What made you become a financial expert?

My journey into financial education began with seeing the real-life struggles that money challenges create for individuals, families, and even entire communities. Early on, I realized that most people were never truly taught how money works—how to budget, save, manage debt, or invest for the future. That gap in knowledge often led to unnecessary stress, limited opportunities, and cycles of hardship.

I became determined to bridge that gap. Over time, through both personal study and professional experience, I developed the skills and expertise to teach financial literacy in a way that is practical, relatable, and empowering. What drives me is not just the numbers, but the transformation —watching people gain confidence, take control of their finances, and open doors they didn’t think were possible.

That passion is what led me to create Foundation47, where my team and

I provide financial education and wellness programs designed to build stability, resilience, and long-term success.

3. Are you part of a franchise or do you own your own business? I own my business

4. Why do you think our community has a tough time with finances?

I believe one of the biggest reasons our community struggles with finances is because of the way we respond to

financial warning signs. I often compare it to the engine light on a car. When that light first comes on, it grabs our attention—we’re concerned. But if the car still runs and gets us where we need to go, most of us ignore it.

People approach their personal finances the same way. Even if they’re living paycheck to paycheck, as long as the bills get paid and life keeps moving, the deeper issues go unaddressed. Unfortunately, just like with a car, ignoring those warning signs eventually leads to a bigger breakdown—overwhelming debt, lack of savings, and missed opportunities. That’s why financial education is so important. It equips people to recognize those “warning lights” early and act before the situation becomes critical.

5. What can someone do to start on the path to good credit?

I believe the very first step is mindset. Credit isn’t just about numbers—it’s about values. What we value is what we spend our money on. Too often, we use cash, credit cards, and even loans to buy things that lose value the moment we purchase them. I’ve seen it in my own life and in the lives of the people I counsel money flows into depreciating assets instead of appreciating ones that build stability and wealth. That mindset eventually shows up in unpaid balances, maxed-out credit cards, and in some cases, bankruptcy.

So, the path to good credit begins with

changing how we view money:

● Prioritize needs over wants.

● Limit consumer debt and avoid impulse spending.

● Pay balances on time, even if it means making small sacrifices elsewhere.

● Invest in things that hold or grow in value—like education, skills, or savings.

Once values shift, habits shift—and good credit naturally follows.

6. Do you offer Financial Literacy Classes? In-person or online?

My classes are both online but mainly in person.

7. Biggest challenge in your field?

One of the biggest challenges in financial education is that while people and organizations often acknowledge the importance of financial literacy, they don’t always take the steps—or commit the resources—to prioritize it.

There are a few layers to this:

● Online Free Courses: With so much free content available online, it can create the illusion that financial education is simple and easily solved with a video or article. But true change requires tailored guidance, accountability, and real engagement—things free content usually doesn’t provide.

● Honesty About Finances: Many individuals also struggle to be fully transparent about their financial situation. Whether it’s shame, fear, or denial, this lack of

openness makes it harder to address the root issues and build lasting solutions.

● Funding and Investment: Finally, organizations often agree that financial literacy is valuable for their people, but they can be reluctant to allocate the financial resources to bring in experts. This can delay progress and keep people stuck in cycles of financial stress.

Overcoming these challenges takes persistence, creativity, and building trust. But I’ve seen firsthand that when people do invest—both financially and emotionally—the returns are life-changing.

8. Best tip on managing your finances?

The best tip I can give is to make a conscious decision to change your financial trajectory. It starts with being honest and transparent about your current reality—no more avoiding the numbers. From there, seek professional guidance if you need it, and most importantly, create a financial plan and commit to following it through to completion. Success in money management isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about discipline, clarity, and the determination to see your plan bear fruit.

9. Do you think financially challenged individuals should invest?

From my perspective and experience, the answer is yes—but with conditions. Financially challenged individuals

should begin investing only after they’ve taken care of the essentials: eliminating high interest debt, building a stable financial environment where they’re not easily influenced to spend unnecessarily, and setting aside adequate savings and an emergency fund.

Once those foundations are in place, investing becomes not just possible but powerful. At that point, individuals can put their money to work and begin building long-term wealth without risking their stability.

10. How can someone contact you?

I can be contacted via email dale.morgan@foundation47llc.com or via a message on my website: foundation47llc.com

Call to Unity for an Alabama Football Team:

Breaking Columbia High School’s Nationally Ranked Losing Streak

Huntsville, AL– Columbia High School's football team continues to grapple with a historic losing streak, now extended to 93 games following a 21-10 defeat against Huffman. Despite the challenges, there's a growing sense of unity among the community, determined to uplift the Eagles and turn the tide.

The losing streak at Columbia High isn't just a story about football scores; it's a reflection of the broader spirit that envelops the school and its community. Parents, students, and local leaders are asking deeper questions: What fuels a winning spirit, and how can Columbia High instill it?

Recently introduced leadership and coaching promise potential change, yet the team's challenges transcend the football field. Community members have observed that Columbia needs more than advanced plays and physical conditioning. From their sister school, Mae C. Jemison, under Principal Dr.

Leverette's guidance, comes inspiration. A unique technique—partnering spirituality with education—has proven effective, fostering growth not just in performance but in character. Can such measures invigorate Columbia High School?

Dr. Leverette, a beacon of innovative educational practices, spearheaded a transformative approach at Mae C. Jemison, merging academic rigor with spiritual and personal development. This holistic approach has set a new standard for public education, igniting curiosity about whether similar strategies might break Columbia's cycle of defeat.

The spirit of unity resonates with Huntsville, underscoring the importance of breaking barriers. Elizabeth Cannon, newly appointed PTA leader,

aims to rekindle connections with the booster club, sponsors, and parents, striving to create a supportive, flourishing environment.

Community engagement extends beyond the football season. Parents and supporters are committed to involving students in developmental activities, emphasizing educational growth and community service. Thoughtful dialogue addresses issues like inclusivity in game scheduling, fostering a culture of academic and cultural advancement.

As Proverbs 27:17 echoes, *"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."* Columbia High embarks on rediscovering its spirit, aiming for transformation not only in sports but throughout Huntsville.

Marriage and Entrepreneurship

www.greenroomentertain.com

Nearing 28 years ago we 30 years ago we met through mutual friends at a pool party celebrating the 4th of July. We were literally inseparable from that moment on. We eloped within six months and had a full wedding six months later before family and friends. We were a family of two and as life would have within the first three years of marriage we grew to a family of four, birthing two sons.

As time passed we lived life, had challenges to overcome, grew together in love, joined and served in church, raised our children, worked in our fields, we learned more and more about each other. By our later 40’s and we realized we were both free spirits and there was a shift happening. Covid came and disrupted the world but it did something different for us, it brought closer and enlightened us on a freedom we had not experienced before and we decided to become entrepreneurs. Once we made that decision we spoke to our now adult sons and gave the plan, soon after God opened doors we didn’t know were there. We realized He’d been setting us up all along for this family business and we were excited to answer the call and name it Green Room Entertainment, a Media Production company. We started in our home with photography,

traveled to do videography and audio production in town and surrounding areas, soon added live streaming and later equipment installation. Within two years we opened our location and opened another business named The Emerald Nook, an Intimate Event Center. Watching God bless us and our business was amazing all we had to do was make the step of faith.

Today, five years after opening our first business we are multi-preneurs running several businesses and brands adding Good green Things and online consignment space, K. Green Cleaning Services and of course the Marriage Be Like podcast which airs on Envision Radio. It has not always been easy following dreams we did not realize we had, finding new passions, and bringing the family along for this ride but we knew to and trust God to see us through the challenging times. Working as a family and as a team, leading each other, has been our best work with God as our guiding light. He builds our businesses, grows our marriage, and deepens our relationships within the family of four and we are more than grateful. We pray that you also lean on God and follow His lead to a greater you.

“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.”

-Aristotle

Dear Trailblazer, Strategies, systems, and success metrics often dominate our attention in the world of entrepreneurship. One of the best things my mother, Jo, ever taught me (and says it plenty even today) is “to thine ownself be true”. I’ve learned the most powerful strategy you can ever employ is the commitment to truly know yourself.

Self-awareness is not simply about recognizing your strengths and areas for improvement; it is about developing a deeper understanding of

your values, motivations, and the unique lens through which you view the world and your lived experience is shaped.

When you become more self-aware, you unlock the ability to lead with authenticity. You communicate more clearly, make decisions with greater confidence, and create boundaries that protect both your energy and your purpose. This awareness helps you identify patterns (both empowering and potentially limiting) that shape your leadership style and influence how others experience you.

For women in business, cultivating self-awareness is especially powerful. It equips you to navigate environments where your presence, voice, and vision may be challenged. …and helps you to know when to pivot within your journey because you’re being called in a whole other space you thought had long passed you by. God had other plans.

I recently made a decision to return to teaching in

the public school sector after exiting more than 25 years ago. It has been one of the best decisions I could have ever made after learning that my teaching license was a lifetime credential that would never expire. I had secretly longed to return to leading and shaping young minds as a classically trained violinist and certified orchestra professional, but kept “lowering the volume” …until it roared in my face.

There was no turning down anything the day that happened. Lowering the volume wouldn’t even work, yawl! So here I am…serving as the current orchestra director for a beautiful high school in my city and five elementary schools where I get to help budding musicians as early as kindergarten and first grade come into their being through the sights and sounds of personal, technical, and musical expression. Just call me an “independent contractor for kids”.

Are you in the right lane?

www.envision-radio.net

So, what if this is all I've got? Maybe this is the most I'll ever do. Maybe this is my only assignment that I have on this earth. Maybe I wasn't supposed to be a part of the 5%, 10%, or 1% largest income earners. Maybe I wasn't designed for having multiple businesses or gifts. Maybe I am the one talent person. The one who used the one talent to the best of my ability? I have fulfilled my purpose with one talent not 10. Am I not all I should be? Am I not living my best life? Absolutely, you're living your best life. But the only problem is that just make sure that you're not copping out or using it as an excuse. Make sure that this really IS your best life. This really is where you're supposed to be. You're in the lane you're supposed to be in. You're driving forward with your foot on the gas and not looking back to where you have been.

Sometimes it doesn't have to be bigger. You don't have to be smarter. You're at peace with yourself and at peace with God. You’re completing your assignments. Like Noah who preached and built an ark for 120 years. People had never seen an ark before and that was his assignment. He finished it. God closed and locked the door with all of the animals inside. Thankfully, unless you are a zookeeper, you don’t have to build an ark. But, maybe you're building a life. Maybe you're pouring into the children that God gave you. Maybe you’re building the business that you’ve always dreamed about. That is a big part of your purpose and destiny. I congratulate you and praying for clarity, guidance, strength, courage, wisdom and prosperity in all that you do. Stay in YOUR lane. Make sure that you’re living YOUR best life and not someone else’s. Live your best life by being your best self and keep it moving. Let’s go!

In the Potter’ s Hand

In a world that celebrates independence, self-expression, and self-determination, the image of clay being shaped by a potter may feel countercultural —perhaps even uncomfortable. Yet in the book of Jeremiah, we encounter one of Scripture’s most compelling illustrations of our relationship with God: He is the Potter, and we are the clay.

The scene is deeply visual. God sends the prophet Jeremiah to observe a potter at work. As Jeremiah watches, he sees the potter shaping a vessel on the wheel. But the clay becomes marred. Instead of discarding it, the potter reforms it—shaping it “as seemed best to him” (Jeremiah 18:4, NIV). It’s more than a

moment of craftsmanship; it’s a divine message. “Can I not do with you as this potter does?” God asks. It’s a rhetorical question, but the point is clear: God has the authority and ability to mold His people according to His will.

This metaphor is echoed in Isaiah 64:8: “But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.” In just a few words, Isaiah captures the delicate tension between God’s sovereignty and our surrender. The clay cannot shape itself. Nor can it resist the will of the one who forms it.

This realization invites humility. We are not self-made. We are not the architects of our destiny. Every gift, every weakness, every life event, every painful stretch of molding—we are shaped by divine hands.

Key Scriptures: Jeremiah 18:1–6, Isaiah 64:8, Isaiah 45:9, Romans 9:20–21, 2 Corinthians 4:7

Broken but Not Discarded

In Jeremiah’s vision, the clay was marred. Whether by sin, trauma, failure, or simple human fragility, we all experience brokenness.

But the potter didn’t discard the flawed vessel. He reworked it.

This is the beauty of redemption. God does not throw us away when we are imperfect. In fact, those imperfections are the very places He begins His best work. The remolding process may take time. It may involve pressure, patience, and discomfort. But the result is not a lesser version of the original—it is a new creation entirely.

We see this truth reverberating throughout Scripture. Isaiah 45:9 warns against the futility of questioning God’s shaping hand: “Does the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you making?’” Similarly, Paul in Romans 9 reminds us that the potter has every right to mold vessels for different purposes. Some may be shaped for what seems like “common use,” while others for more visible callings—but all are in the hands of the same master craftsman.

Treasure in Fragile Vessels

The metaphor continues into the New Testament. Paul, writing to the Corinthians, acknowledges human weakness in striking terms: “We have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us” (2 Corinthians 4:7). These jars of clay—fragile, ordinary, prone to cracking—are the very vessels God

chooses to carry His most precious treasure: the gospel.

Why would God choose to place eternal glory in such breakable containers?

The answer is both humbling and freeing: so that all the glory goes to Him. Our imperfections, our weaknesses, our cracks—they are not barriers to being used by God. They are the very places His power is most clearly seen. The light of Christ doesn’t shine through flawless people. It shines through those who are surrendered enough to let their brokenness become a window for His grace.

Lessons from the Wheel

The potter’s wheel offers more than just a metaphor—it offers timeless wisdom for the journey of faith. Consider these truths:

1. God’s hands are always at work. Even when we feel forgotten or stagnant, we are on the wheel, being shaped.

2. We must be moldable. Soft clay responds to the Potter’s touch; hardened hearts resist it.

3. Shaping involves pressure. Formation is rarely comfortable. God uses His tools—circumstances, people, even trials—to refine us.

4. Broken doesn’t mean useless. A marred vessel is not a discarded one. God specializes in reworking lives others might overlook.

5. We are not finished yet. As long as there is breath in us, God continues to shape us for His purposes.

These are not just poetic insights—they are

anchors for real-life discipleship. They remind us that our current form is not our final one, and that God’s shaping hand never leaves the clay.

Trusting the Potter

To live in the Potter’s hands is to embrace surrender. It is to trust that God knows what He’s doing, even when we do not. It’s to say yes to the pressure, the reshaping, the seasons of spinning on the wheel—because we believe the hands that hold us are good.

As believers, we are:

● Formed by the Potter

● Reformed by grace

● Filled with divine treasure

● Used for His glory

Our call is not to understand every detail of the process, but to trust the One who oversees it. The most powerful prayer we can offer is simple: “Lord, shape me. Mold me. Even when it hurts, even when I don’t understand—do what You must to make me into a vessel that brings You glory.”

Reflection

In what ways has God reshaped you after a time of brokenness or failure? Are there areas in your life where you are resisting God’s hand?

How does recognizing your fragility as a “jar of clay” change your view of God’s power?

What does it mean to you personally that God doesn’t discard the marred vessel but reshapes it?

Closing Prayer Father, You are the Potter, and we are the

Mold us and make us according to Your will.

Perseverance

12 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

- Hebrews 12:1

Perseverance is an essential trait that helps people push through challenges and reach their goals, even when the going gets tough. It reflects a strong will to keep moving forward, regardless of setbacks or failures. This unwavering spirit not only builds resilience but also encourages a growth mindset, enabling individuals to learn from their experiences and adjust their approaches. In the context of personal and professional growth, perseverance is crucial, as it allows individuals to navigate difficulties and unlock their

true potential. Hebrews 12:1 highlights the significance of perseverance in faith by comparing believers to athletes in a race. It introduces a "great cloud of witnesses," representing those who have faithfully lived before us and now serve as inspiration for modern believers. This collective of faithful individuals underscores the transformative power of faith, motivating others to persist in their spiritual journeys. The passage advises believers to cast aside any hindrances and the sins that easily entrap them, as these can obstruct their spiritual progress. It emphasizes the necessity of running the race with patience, suggesting that endurance is crucial. This race, ordained by God, lies ahead, and believers are encouraged to pursue it together. Ultimately, this scripture serves as a powerful reminder of the communal nature of faith and the importance of perseverance in overcoming challenges. We encourage you to stay in the race, keep the faith and learn to persevere.

Gluten and Salt Free Sauces, Seasoning and Pepper Jelly

The Sauces and Seasonings came about in a very unusual manner. I constantly traveled with a duffle bag full of sauces and seasonings, for quite a few years while catering and being a personal chef . Then one day I decided after watching Madam CJ Walker's documentary to make a product. The idea came to my mind to put all of the main seasonings that I would use on poultry, fish, beef, or pork etc all into one container. After getting the correct blend. I posted it on my social media. Not as an item for sale but originally just as my multipurpose seasoning. Within hours people were asking "how much is it"? The light came on in my head. I now offer a Hot and a Mild all purpose dry rub seasoning. That is also salt free and gluten free. They're great on any meats, seafood, soups salads and in any dish.

The sauces came about after having a discussion with my uncle Harry Craig. He made a homemade barbecue sauce that has been in my family for over 100 years. I mentioned to him that this sauce needs to go worldwide instead of just in our local area and surrounding

counties. He blessed me with the recipe and I started producing UNCLE HARRY'S ORIGINAL BARBECUE SAUCE. Then upon moving to Huntsville , Alabama I learned about the white barbecue sauce, so I created a SMOKED WHITE BARBECUE SAUCE. Being from Georgia I definitely had to create a SMOKED GA PEACH BBQ SAUCE and a SMOKED MOLASSES BBQ SAUCE. By the way in the previous issue I mentioned my mother's pepper jelly.

All my sauces are Available Now. Hot or Mild. My next creation will feature a ginger based steak sauce as well as a jalapeno based hot sauce. Please don't forget about my moms handwritten recipe cookbook. All of which are available individually or as a set. They are great gift items for anyone preparing food of any type. Football Season, Tailgating and holiday gifts especially. Order Yours Today. Shipping and delivery available $6 each item or create your own bundle and receive a 20% discount.

Mind, Body, Spirit: The Triad of True Wellness

PART 1

www.d3healthfitness.com

True wellness is not a single destination, it’s a dynamic alignment of three interdependent domains: the Mind, the Body, and the Spirit. When these pillars are intentionally nourished together, health becomes resilient, longevity improves, and day-to-day life gains clarity, meaning, and vitality.

Why a Triad? The Power of Three in Wellness

Modern medicine has accomplished extraordinary things, yet many people still experience persistent fatigue, stress, chronic pain, anxiety, and a sense of disconnection. These concerns/issues rarely stem from one isolated cause. Research and clinical practice increasingly show that best outcomes come from whole-person approaches that integrate physical care with mental health strategies and spiritual or meaning-centered practices. The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) describes this integrative approach as whole-person health, involving the biological, behavioral, social, and spiritual influences that shape

wellness. The word triad comes from the Greek triás, meaning “a group of three.” In many cultures, philosophies, and sciences, the number three symbolizes balance, harmony, and completeness. When applied to wellness, the triad of Mind, Body, and Spirit represents the three interdependent dimensions of human health that must be aligned for true vitality.

The Mind

Encompasses thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and cognitive function. Scientific evidence shows the mind influences physical health: chronic stress is linked to cardiovascular disease, while mindfulness practices reduce anxiety and improve immunity. A healthy mind fosters resilience, clarity, and emotional regulation, shaping how we experience both body and spirit.

The Body

Represents the physical vessel: organs, muscles, and systems that sustains life. Nutrition, movement, rest, and medical care all fall here. When the body is cared for, it supports clearer thinking (mind) and greater spiritual connection. Conversely, when neglected, it can drag down mental

and spiritual well-being.

The Spirit

Goes beyond religion; it’s the sense of meaning, purpose, values, and inner peace. Research in psychoneuroimmunology shows that spiritual practices such as prayer, meditation, and gratitude can lower blood pressure, reduce inflammation, and improve overall well-being. A nourished spirit gives life direction, hope, and wholeness.

The Mind: Stress Regulation, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Health

For the mind research shows. That the mind-body therapies and mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) have a growing evidence base for reducing anxiety, depression, PTSD symptoms, and stress-related conditions. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses show MBIs increase self-compassion, reduce rumination, and improve psychological resilience.

Practical tips that will help you strengthen the mind pillar of the triad.

● Daily micro-practices: Start with 5 minutes of breathwork, progressive relaxation, or a short-guided meditation. Consistency beats intensity.

● Cognitive hygiene: Limit doom-scrolling, schedule worry time (10–15 minutes daily for concerns), and practice reframing one negative

thought each day.

● Learning and novelty: Engage in mentally stimulating activities (reading, language, music) to support neuroplasticity.

● Emotional check-ins: Use a brief journal prompt each evening — “what fed me today / what drained me?” — to spot patterns.

Why does it matter? I am glad you asked. Stress is not just a feeling. It is a physiological state that alters immune function, digestion, sleep, and decision-making. Training the mind to regulate stress reduces allostatic load and enhances the effectiveness of body-focused health behaviors.

The Body: Movement, Nutrition, Sleep, and Inflammation

Research shows that physical activity, quality nutrition, restorative sleep, and inflammation control are foundational biological levers for health. Exercise interventions are strongly associated with improvements in mood, cognition, and overall mental health across many populations. Regular physical activity reduces risk for cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and multiple cancers, and supports brain health.

● Move daily: Aim for a mix of aerobic (150 min/week moderate), strength

Which Declarations Resound in

www.envision-radio.com www.bertaweyenberg.com

“Declarations that resound in heaven are not always thunderous prophecies, but sometimes whispered truths spoken in love.”

When we think of declarations that move heaven, we often imagine prophetic words, powerful statements, scriptures proclaimed with authority, or promises of God spoken boldly into the earth. Certainly those words impact the heavenly realm, but sometimes, it doesn’t take a thunderous proclamation to catch heaven’s attention. Sometimes it is the simplest words, those that flow honestly from the heart, that resound the loudest.

Today, I witnessed this in an ordinary conversation. A friend began her sentence with: “As a best friend, I know…” And at that moment, I was

struck by the weight of her declaration. It wasn’t a call for world peace, nor the end of global struggles, but it carried conviction, loyalty, and love, and that made it powerful in heaven’s sight.

Why? Because God is love, and true friendship reflects His very nature. When words are spoken with sincerity, heaven takes account. I believe blessings were dispatched in that instant, because love had been voiced and sealed in truth.

The spiritual realm does not only respond to mighty prophecies, it leans in when love is confessed, when loyalty is declared, when the human heart speaks with purity. Those simple words, spoken from a friend’s lips, resounded far beyond the moment because words from the heart matter and Heaven always notices loyalty and love.

Declarations in Heaven?

“And

now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

1 Corinthians 13:13

¿Qué Declaraciones Resuenan en

www.envision-radio.com www.bertaweyenberg.com

1 Corintios 13:13
