Opening April 10, 2026, this side-splitting jukebox musical is a hilarious homage to 1970s disaster films — complete with earthquakes, tidal waves, killer bees, and the biggest hits of the disco era! Written by Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick, Disaster! is a jukebox musical comedy that drops audiences right into the middle of the most chaotic night imaginable aboard New York’s first floating casino and discotheque. As the disco ball spins and bell bottoms swish, an outrageous collection of characters — including a faded lounge singer, a nun with a gambling addiction, a scientist with dire warnings, and a pair of mismatched lovers — fight to survive one absurd catastrophe after another. All the while, they belt out classic ‘70s hits like: “Hot Stuff” • “I Am Woman” • “Knock on Wood” • “Hooked on a Feeling” • “Sky High” • “Daybreak” • “I Will Survive” and many more! It’s laugh-out-loud funny, filled with over-the-top antics, and packed with non-stop musical nostalgia. Perfect for fans of big hair, bell bottoms, and big-budget movie mayhem!
