Micah Crandall-Bear (US, b.1980) Micah Crandall-Bear’s abstract landscape paintings examine Earth’s intrinsic resources and our disposition toward their accelerated transformation. His concept is infused with linear layers that cascade from atmospheric to subterranean. Landscape details hint at daily and seasonal shifts in light, evoking a sense of evolution and balance. He presents abstractions that inspire a deep and effusive connection to nature.

Crandall-Bear achieves longitudinal depth by exacting precisely rendered lines and seamless expanses of color. This explicitly composed depth communicates a sense of contingency and locality. Micah’s construction of space is enhanced by his painting method. His ‘wet-on-wet’ method is a contemporary application of ‘alla prima,’ a traditional technique used mostly in oil painting, where layers of wet paint are applied to previous layers of wet paint. No matter how precise or general

the area, Micah’s layered brushstrokes are decisive, but also gestural, often spanning the entire surface of the canvas from left to right. This highly active method of painting is sometimes tempered through rapid buffing and blending. The outcome is a smooth, boundless, and energetic surface.

As a Sacramento, California native, Crandall-Bear established his artistic roots locally and continues to promote the growth of his community. His work is represented in the United States, Asia, and Europe. He has been featured in ArtSlant, Art Maze Mag, American Art Collector Magazine, Forbes and more.

Douglas Diaz (US, b. 1972) Douglas Diaz is a Brooklyn, New York born artist. His work explores questions of his own humanity, challenging preconceptions and thoughts, embracing fears and the darkness that lies deep within the unconscious in an attempt to gain spiritual equanimity.

His work has been exhibited in solo and group shows since 2015 across Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and the United States. In 2017, Douglas had his first solo museum exhibition titled SHUKKE at Art 1 Museum, Indonesia. His work is collected privately and publicly in 18 different countries.

Tuyuloveme (ID, 2006) Tuyuloveme is an Indonesian artist who began his artistic practice on the streets of Yogyakarta. Tuyuloveme is not a native of Yogyakarta but spent the majority of his life there.

It becomes a base for him to do his creative works as he travels around the world working on international projects.

He creates work that revolves around his daily life and experience through graffiti.

Tuyuloveme has been painting his unique style for over ten years. His paintings show a recurring character called TUYUL- which represents his alter-ego, a self-portrait of sorts- popping up on walls and street corners worldwide.

His visual style is a juxtaposition of the orderly with the expressive and chaotic expulsion, which contrasts with his personality in real life.

You may find his artworks in major city streets or walls all over Indonesia, Asia, Europe, Australia, and the United States.

His career is influenced and a result of his extensive travels and ability to collaborate with international artists in group exhibitions. Tuyuloveme has been featured in national and international events with several solo exhibitions including Nothing but Love at Bside Gallery, Australia (2018); Same shit, different place at Allcaps Gallery, Bali, Indonesia (2017) and Destroy to Create at D Gallerie, Jakarta, Indonesia (2015).
