MIDDLE SCHOOL Women in Stem Seminar - “Scientriffic Women” On Friday, 13 May we were fortunate to host “Scientriffic Women’s Seminar’ a seminar specifically for female Cornerstone College students. The Women in Stem Seminar was organised by Brian Haddy from the Science Collective and was the first of its kind. The seminar was opened by Independent MP Rebekha Sharkie and featured six keys speakers from various science careers. Speakers on the day were
Dr Steph Lamont-Friedrich: KPMG State Account Manager, Kris Messenger: Bugs n Slugs, Jess Shannon: Roboroos, Jen Pitman: National Parks Rangers, Elise Boultby: Australian Space Discovery Centre and Natalia Dworniczek: Nitro Nat. Cancellation of Arts Alive We were sorry to cancel Arts Alive last week. Unfortunately, due to a number of staff and student absences, the event was unable to go ahead.
