About the Event 活動辦法 Cinemasports Universities challenges student teams around the world to make a short movie using the same required “ingredients” in ten hours. Final movies must be less than 3 minutes and include required 3 ingredients announced at the start of the shooting day. Submitted movies will be considered for a gala screening at Kun Shan University in Tainan, Taiwan. Three ingredients: Mirror Hold Hands Stick For the 4th Cinemasports Universities, we have more than 130 films around the world submitted to the event. It was wonderful to see so many student artists from various countries express themselves through the medium of short film.
國際大學拍片運動挑戰來自世界各地的大學生 的即興創作，在十小時以內完成一部短片包含 同樣的“三項元素”。 最後的影片必須短於三分鐘，並且包含拍片當 日所宣布的三項元素。完成挑戰的作品部份將 入選於台灣崑山科技大學的播映晚會中播出。 三項元素為： 鏡子 牽手 棒子 第四屆國際大學拍片運動，共有超過一百三十 多部的影片完成挑戰送件。這是一個非常難得 的機會，看到來自於不同國家的學生，透過短 片表達自己的想法。 官方網站Offical Website: cinemasports.com 台灣臉書網站 Taiwan Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/CinemasportsUniversities 3

The 4th Cinemasports Universities
As we integrate more closely through a networked world, communication across boundaries of language, politics, and culture becomes more important. Whether your language is Mandarin or Slovenian, movies have help us share our perspectives. Congratulations to all the teams that completed a movie for Cinemasports Universities 2016. All teams shared the challenge of completing a short movie with the 3 ingredients: Hold Hands, Mirror, and Stick. They made the movies in 10 hours on the same weekend in March. Teams participated from Portugal, South Korea, Slovenia, Malaysia, Spain, Laos, China, Hong Kong, and of course many teams from Taiwan. Despite the differences in language and culture, we communicated stories about love, art, and global warming. Thank you for taking part in our creative experiment. Hopefully, we inspired creativity in each other for that weekend in March and into the future!

Cinemasports, it sounds very exciting, but on the other hand, to make a film within 10 hours must be big challenging, even more to students. Through many efforts to overcome time limit and make creativity with 3 ingredients, I strongly believe that our new future filmmakers get good experiences and artistic values more than 10 hours. It was so inspiring moments for me and my students to participate in the 4th Cinemasports and we wish that Cinemasports keeps progressing and always makes value.

시네마스포츠, 열 시간 이내에 하나의 필름을 제작하 는 일은 흥미롭고도 매우 도전적인 일입니다. 시간의 제 약을 극복하면서 주어진 세 가지 소재들을 활용해 하나 의 창작을 완성하는 과정 속에서 미래의 젊은 필름 메이 커들은 열 시간 이상의 예술적 경험과 가치를 체험했으 리라 확신합니다. 시네마스포츠는 저와 학생 참가자들에게 소중한 영감 의 순간이었습니다. 제 4회 시네마스포츠에 참여하게 된 것을 매우 기쁘게 생각하고, 앞으로도 시네마스포츠가 진보하고 번영하기를 응원하겠습니다.
The 4th Cinemasports Universities
It was the 4th year that I participated the Cinemasports. The reason I love Cinemasports is because it did not seek for perfectly planned works, but for the creativity and inspiration happening impromptu, the real-time reflections and humour. Through the impromptu films, the distance between creators and audiences was shortened. My students from Department of Motion Pictures and Video, KSU, joined in the filming project passionately this time. They delivered several wonderful films. Thanks to the organizer, Professor Hui-Ching Tseng, of planning this wonderful event; thanks to the Founder of Cinemasports, Mr. Jin Joo. I look forward to the communication through films again next year.

It is an honor to be invited once again to participate in the Cinemasports Universities short film festival. Every year this event attracts more participants from all around the world. I encourage my students to participate, because I think this kind of activity is profoundly educational. In order to complete a film, each group has to work together to develop and share ideas, manage time, and interact with multiple technologies. It is a multifaceted learning experience that develops lasting skills and aptitudes. Furthermore, the focus of Cinemasports Universities is not on the “end product,” but the experience.

參與拍片運動是個發揮創意的絕佳時機，也感 謝科技的發展，讓影片製作更加貼近生活。 拍 片像畫畫、寫作一樣。訴說自身的想法分享給群 眾，是影片該發揮的目的；但是拍片更加需要團 隊合作，進而將作品完美呈現。 一直以來影片製 作總是與人力、經費、時間、技術畫上等號，而 忽略了原本故事應該存在結構。也因為完成影片 是不簡單的，所以突顯了參與拍片運動的所有參 賽者，他們令人驚喜的創意能量。 期待更多的創 意作品，能繼續被製造出來。 當然，這次的活動也感謝各校老師的支持，讓 每場活動說明會能夠順利進行；還有老師應援活 動鼓勵學生參與，讓更多極具創意的作品不在壓 抑於教學內容，更能靈活的展現。

各式的動態影像媒體已經如同空氣中的各種 元素般，是我們生活中不可切割的部分。 我們每日無止不盡的消費著這些光線的痕 跡，而對這些被消費物的產生與詮釋可否有一 定的掌握呢? Cinemasports提供了一個場域讓我們可以透過 不同的角度去經驗。 內在意識活動、影像生成方式與敘事表現方 法激盪的各種可能性。 不同國家、不同民族、不同文化的隊伍透過 這個活動去做文本與符號連結的探討。影像的 原始意義透過不同群組重複產生而表現出各種 轉變的可能性:嚴肅、情慾、幽默、瘋狂、惡 搞、抽象、性向突顯、社會批判、小情小愛、 親情糾葛、環保意識..... Cinemasports或許是影像媒體民主化過程中一 個必要的---運動。

難得與來自不同地域、不同民族、不同高校的 電影夥伴一起用視聽語言的方式玩了這麼一把， 像拍片運動這樣的活動形式，在中國大陸還並不 常見。因此，當我向學生們推薦時，他們表現出 了極大的興趣，而且有超過95％的報名團隊都完 成挑戰。每個人的經歷，就是他(她)寶貴財富的重 要組成部分。 相信他們可以在這次活動所設置的規定情境、 製作時間等方面的刺激下，也可以感受到一些新 的關於電影製作的體會。包括我自己都滿有收穫 的，也通過評審各組的創意，打開了自己的一些 思路和見解。呃，我會記得，這個在寶島台灣的 美好春天；這個在世界各地的拍片運動！ 本屆拍片運動，同學們在熱情參與的同時，得 到了對自己專業能力的肯定，可逐步建立起個人 的專業自信，也鼓勵了今後的創作自信，更激發 了從事教育工作的我們的教育自信。

今年首度參與了Cinemasports國際大學拍片運動的 評審工作, 在兩天裡審視超過百多部的作品過程中, 非 常驚訝如此之多的參賽者能在短短時間內, 只有10個 小時的拍攝期將三元素的搭配運用得宜, 所展現出的 類型則橫跨多種, 有驚悚,搞笑,以及令人為之動容的抒 情小品和動畫類型, 許多參賽作品的影像表現以及構 圖美學也令人眼睛為之一亮, 有些參賽作品在故事整 體敘述的短片情節上, 表現出來的水準可圈可點, 激盪 出的火花著實令人驚艷! I-chun Liu 劉怡君 影片競賽不外乎要切題性、完整性、趣味性及具記 憶性，而「好」的標準，雖說評審考量各有不同，但 此次選擇出來的評審首獎、優選甚至是榮譽提名，再 再顯示出評審的品味與觀點之雷同與差異。

很榮幸能參與這屆的國際大學拍片運動，這個活動 最有意義的地方在於它營造出一個自由創作的磁性場 域，吸引所有嚮往拍片的年輕人，以限時與限制的抽 題條件，讓青春創意的火花在古都的大街小巷中恣意 的流竄著。最棒的地方，更在於這個活動，串聯了世 界各地的對拍片運動充滿熱情的年輕人，能互相激盪 與交流，並看見在相同的主題元素下，以不同文化觀 點所拍攝出的一部部令人也捧腹也感動的精彩短片， 證明了青春因充滿熱情而美麗。由Jin Woo Joo所發起 的拍片運動，在曾惠青老師的辛苦耕耘下，期待在台 灣的國際大學拍片運動，能在這個充滿熱情的府城陽 光下，繼續深耕與茁壯。 It ‘s my honor to participate The 4th Cinema sports Universities in Taiwan. The fascinating event has offered great opportunities for young students to create short films in creativity under the challenge terms and conditions. Tainan City, the oldest city in Taiwan is full of Taiwanese traditional cultural in every corner has been a perfect region for the Cinema sports Universities in Taiwan. With the event, the unique city always offers students very special ingredients which can’t be found in any other place to create works with their brilliant ideas. Many thanks for the founder Jin Woo Joo and Hui-Ching Tseng who is the event main organizer in Taiwan. There wouldn’t be so much joyful shorts without their dedications.

第四屆的活動圓滿成功，今年總共有130多個團 隊完成挑戰，感謝11位大專老師與專家，在兩天內 完成困難的評審，選出了前20名作品頒給評審首選 獎與數名優選獎，於三日後的首映播映會展出。靠 著很多人志願投入心力，讓這個活動得以每年舉辦 和繼續成長。國際大學拍片運動創立了一種新的典 範；這個活動不是為了得獎，而是為了分享文化與 創意。透過社群的力量，我們一起完成這麼有意義 的活動。最後感謝所有參與的團隊。 This fourth event year was a great success! This year more than 130 teams completed the challenge. Thanks to 11 teachers and industry professional experts who finished this difficult task of reviewing all of the films in only 2 days. They selected the 20 Top Picks and several official selections, which were shown at the gala screening three days later. The events relied on many people who volunteered to help to make it possible and continue to grow. Cinemasports Universities creates a new model; it is not for competition, but for sharing culture and creativity. Through the collective efforts of our wonderful community, we completed a very meaningful event. Finally, a sincere thank you to all of the teams that participated in this event.

Planning and Implementation Committee 【企劃組組長 陳杰平】 第二次當總召的心情很不同，這次的感覺壓力沒那 麼大，反而享受了整個過程，雖然這次的典禮沒有 到滿分的標準，但從整體過程，學到了絕對要做好 事情的精神及態度；而在惠青老師與 Jim 的帶領 下，要舉辦場活動非常不易，Jim 的上課過程中， 教導了我們許多有關拍攝的技巧與手法，並從簡 單的一分鐘影片，要我們充分表現出開始-高潮-結 束，另外此手法對很多拍攝影片非常受用；而惠青 老師已經舉辦四屆的國際大學拍片運動，也愈來愈 好，愈來愈盛大，而我對這樣的活動有非常大的期 待，召集世界各地的大學生來進行拍片運動，並藉 由這樣傳播的方式，讓大家知道這個活動，也希望 之後能愈來愈好!

Documentary Committee 【攝影組組長 鍾慧冰】 這是我初次參加國際大學拍片運動，並幫忙紀錄活 動花絮，創造了很多個人的初次，跟班上同學初次 參與拍片比賽，初次幫忙在活動紀錄中，以直播方 式與各國世界參與比賽的人交流，初次以手機拍攝 活動花絮，初次參與活動專頁的管理…有很多沒想 過的事情，都在這個活動發生了，是個很難得的經 驗。同時亦了解比賽的宗旨，其實最重要的，並不 是有沒有得獎，而是透過比賽，以三樣指定的故事 元素，在有限時間內連結成一個故事影片，當中創 作的樂趣，能換到很多難忘的回憶。當我剪輯活動 花絮的時候，很多搞笑的畫面也浮現出來，希望大 家會喜歡，有興趣可以回活動專頁重溫喔。

Design Committee 【設計組組長 蕭劭威】 這次大學拍片運動，很榮幸參與並且協助製作設 計。這次我和其他組員主要負責是看板的部分，這 次在做金孔子像的時候算是我的挑戰，因為這次的 需求是要俗氣不精緻的圖像，所以讓我思考了好一 陣子，不確定自己是否能夠勝任這個任務，但是後 來上網搜尋了些資訊慢慢地找出了輪廓並且將想法 給繪製出來，算是給自己上了一課，知道自己有更 多的可能，雖然過程有時後覺得很趕，因為不只有 拍片運動這堂課還有其他課程，作業也是同步都有 不是只有一個設計組的事要做，所以算是有點趕還 有累，不過後來看到有人很喜歡這些物件我心裡也 覺得都值得了，算是個很具特別的挑戰。

第二次總召心情不同，壓力沒那麼大，反而享受整 個過程，雖然典禮沒到滿分標準，但從過程學到做 好事情的精神及態度；而在惠青老師與 Jim 帶領 下，舉辦活動不易，Jim 上課過程中，教導我們許 多拍攝技巧與手法，從簡單的一分鐘影片，要我們 充分表現出開始-高潮-結束。 此手法對拍攝影片 非常受用；而惠青 老師已經舉辦四屆 國際大學拍片運動 愈來愈好，而我對 這樣的活動有非常 大的期待，召集世 界各地的大學生來 進行拍片運動，並 藉由這樣傳播的方 式，讓大家知道這 個活動，也希望之 後能愈來愈好!
參與活動的整個過程後，才明白一個電影的完成， 需要許多擁有不同專業的人共同努力，花費許多時 間和心血讓電影能吸引觀眾並且傳達某些觀念或議 題。拍片運動能看到來自不同國家的隊伍所製作的 影片，每隊都擁有不同風格，讓我認識許多電影的 呈現手法，能參與拍片運動是個很棒的經驗。 過程中和組員們一起想 劇本、畫分鏡表，還可 以擔任導演、演員及攝 影等不同的角色，讓我 學習到了很多基本的影 片拍攝及製作的能力， 和組員們也渡過了一段 快樂的時光。感謝老師 和同學的付出，使得拍 片運動的拍攝當日及頒 獎日都能順利的落幕。

Graphic & Booklet Designer 【手冊編輯設計 陳冠學】 我的工作是負責設計活動舉牌、臨時活動海報 以及活動手冊的編製，以及現場臨時的工作人 員，每樣經由我手中的東西，我都希望將它做 到最好；過程一次又一次的激發了我的責任 心。非常開心能跟大家共同舉辦這次的拍片運 動，並從事多項設計，過程即便辛苦，但展覽 當天與大家共襄盛舉這項活動的場面，我依舊 記憶猶新。 這次也讓我學習到， 舉辦一個活動，大家 互相團結與參與感是 非常重要且可貴的事 情，同時也有許多同 校的學弟妹主動參與 幫忙，讓我看到了崑 山科大的熱情唷。

Poster & Visual Designer 【視覺設計 黃昶維】 這次的概念其實很直接，以攝影的畫面來傳達 拍片運動的精神，導演用鏡頭來說故事的特 點，運用在海報當中，而背景的手稿，象徵著 大家對於設計或拍片上的繁複思考的程序，每 每在看作品時，若有手稿，都會拿起來看，因 為設計的重點不只是結果呈現，而是過程研 究，因此而運用在此設計上來經人反思。連任 兩次設計很幸運，看到海報被印這麼多，挺感 動的，這次雖有在設計上的狀況，但我會繼續 學習，持續努力。

The Trailer 宣傳片 The Trailer was directed and filmed by students from the KSU Department of Visual Communication Design using the famous night market of Tainan city as the theme. It shows the main concept of Cinemasports: Make a short film with a running time of less than 3 minutes, complete it within 10 hours, and include 3 ingredients. 活動影片由視覺傳達設計系學生所製作，以台南知名 的夜市做為主題，表現拍片運動的主軸：在十小時內 完成製作一部三分鐘的影片包含當天宣布的三元素。

The Kick-Off Meeting 拍片開跑日 The kick-off meeting for Taiwan teams took place on the morning of March 27, 2016 in Tainan and Kaohsiung. It is a fun activity for participants to get together, cheer, and motivate each other right at the beginning of the filming days just after it the 10 hours film challenge starts. 台灣拍片日宣誓活動在2016年3月27日早上在台南高 雄，皆有開跑宣誓活動，臨近的參賽者齊聚一堂，互 相加油打氣，緊接下來開始十小時的拍片衝刺。

The Filming Day 拍片競賽 Teams from around the world on March 26th or 27th, 2016 for a total of eight countries each choose one day to complete their film within ten hours. This year there is about 170 teams sign up. In the end, a total of 130 teams finished the challenge and submitted the film. This success is unprecedented. 來自世界各地的團隊於2016年3月26日或27日，共八 個國家各自選擇其中一天，在設定的十小時內完成 拍片的活動。今年總共有約170多組報名，最後總共 有130組完成挑戰繳交影片，盛況空前。

The Preparation 預備工作 After the filming day, we had an outdoor screening gala on March 30th, 2016. Seating for four hundred people was set up. The event was organized and set up by the graduate students committee of the Kun Shan University Department of Visual Communication Design. 拍片日後，於3月30日舉辦精彩的戶外播映會，四百 個座位的活動場地，由崑山科大視覺傳達設計系研 究所同學，合力來籌劃整個播映會的佈置。

The Opening 開幕 The outdoor screening was held on March 30, 2016, more than 300 teachers and students attended the event. The activities began with some cool live unplugged guitar performances of a few well-know movie sound tracks. Then the presenters and the audience took selfies together. Right after that began two wonderful screenings. 播映會於2016年3月30日舉辦，超過三百多位的老師 與學生出席了這次的活動。活動開始有精彩的吉他 表演，演唱多首知名的電影主題曲，並且主持人與 觀眾玩自拍之後，立即開始兩場精彩的播映會。

The Gala Screening 播映會 The gala screening took place on the outdoor KSU Grand Square located at the front door of the Kun Shan University Library and Information Centre, Kun Shan University, Tainan City, Taiwan. During the one and half hour screening more than 30 films from around the world were screened in the evening. 播映會於崑科大圖書資訊館戶外廣場舉辦，在約一 個半小時的播映會中，總共播映了超過30多部來自 世界各地的影片。

Online Video Conferences 線上直撥會面 During the gala screening, the gala screening audience was able to communicate with the teams that were unable to actually attend the gala screening by using Google Hangout and Wechat. Many teams from Taiwan, Slovenia, Portugal, Spain and mainland China show up in the on-line video conference meetings. They interacted with the audience in real-time.
