Winchcombe Acupuncture is a friendly, professional acupuncture practice based within the Cotswold Eye Care Centre. Established in 2004, the practice is run by Anna Darrock (BAcC), who maintains high standards of ethics and conduct, ensuring the health and safety of patients at all times.

Offers a wide range of support services to people with dementia and their carers. The Dementia Connect service advisers offer telephone or face-to-face advice and help people to remain independent, and active in their communities. Talking Point is a free on-line community open 24 hours per day and is accessed on-line. The website has telephone numbers for many services in the local area, such as Gloucester Befriending service (a telephone service for people who need a bit of company), and ‘Singing for the Brain’ . The Alzheimers Society also runs the Dementia Friends Programme which helps to change people’s perceptions about dementia.

Acupuncture is a tried and tested system of traditional medicine which has been used in China and other eastern cultures for thousands of years to restore, promote and maintain good health. Its benefits are now widely acknowledged all over the world and in the past decade traditional acupuncture has begun to feature more prominently in mainstream healthcare in the UK. in Cotswold Eye Care Centre, High Street, Winchcombe, Glos.
