Our Campaign Sofa draws inspiration from campaign furniture, which could be taken apart and reassembled daily. They are made of beech wood and covered in our in-house 100% linen fabrics – Limewash, Pearl, Putty and Dark Moss. The Campaign range is all about comfort, simplicity and longevity, and brings a contemporary twist to classic design. They can easily be taken apart and reassembled time and time again, and it’s underlying craftsmanship means that it will serve your needs for many years.

It is the perfect furniture to move with you - and also for the most awkward spaces like narrow stairs and doorways.

The whole Campaign family can be made fully upholstered in linen or with loose linen covers over a calico base.

The original

The sofa pictured above is the original that we designed for the new owners of an old French townhouse which had been in the same family since it had been built, and the new owners wanted to be mindful of this history. All of the furniture discovered in the house could be taken apart and moved, and often had special nuts and bolts to clasp each piece together.

These traditional design elements were perfect solutions for an old house with a very steep narrow staircase and a large sitting room.

So the Campaign Sofa was born. It was upholstered in the many vintage linen sheets that were found in the house, a further quiet connection of past and present.

Bespoke options The sofa above was upholstered in vintage hemp. The piece to the right was upholstered in the client’s own vintage Hungarian linen and has a long seat cushion. We have a range of linen coverings available, but we can also use your chosen material to cover your order.

All our orders are made to measure by hand in the UK, which gives us the flexibility to create bespoke versions to suit individual needs, such as a slightly deeper seat, different arm heights or an angled back. Every Campaign Sofa is unique, and we take a pride in our friendly and flexible design approach.

We designed the bed so that it can be used nightly, and not just as an occasional guest bed. Our Campaign Sofa Bed is intended to combine elegant comfortable daytime seating with a comfortable night’s sleep with no compromises – both the sofa and the sofabed itself offer ultimate comfort for sleeping and sitting. The metal bed mechanism folds into three and then slides gently into and out of the base of the sofa. An elegant sofa hiding a sleepy secret!

As with the Campaign sofa, our sofabed can be taken apart and moved whenever it needs to be. Also available upholstered or with loose covers.
