Father give me the share of your estate that should come to me.
Today's Gospel speaks loudly about forgiveness and mercy, but also about hate, revenge, and rejection. Can we recall another scripture passage more loved, or better known than the Prodigal Son? The parable is intensely personal, any person could see him/herself mirrored in one, the other, or any of the main characters. What is more, it is highly probable that any one of us, in our own souls, have a little bit of each one of them.
In our days, Jesus continues putting our human concepts upside down The Lord is always inviting us to perceive our human relations from a way different perspective. Every
human being is the prodigal son, because we all are sinners.Sin always tempts us with an easy life, inviting us to live with licentiousness, a life full of pleasures. If we decide to follow this way, at the end of the road, we will surely experience rejection, dissatisfaction and misery. If we decide to walk this path, we will surely be destroying our own human dignity.
Today, let us approach the Lord of the perfect reconciliation, let us ask Him for what is needed to always answer with the compassion, love and mercy that the Gospel asks of us today. Let us ask f o r s t r e n g t h e n o u g h t o a l w a y s o f f e r reconciliation amongst this unjust world. Let us ask our merciful Father for enough faith and strength to transform hate in love, conflict in peace,and death in hope for eternal life.

Padre, dame la parte de la herencia que me toca.
Las lecturas de hoy hablan de misericordia y de perdón, pero también de odio, venganza, y rechazo. ¿Podríamos acaso imaginar algún pasaje bíblico más querido y conocido que el pasaje del hijo pródigo? La parábola es intensamente personal, de tal forma que cualquier persona puede verse reflejado en uno, o en todos los personajes involucrados. Lo que, es más, es muy probable que haya un poco de cada uno de ellos en todos nosotros.
Hoy en día, nuevamente Jesús pone de cabeza nuestras expectativas. El Señor nos invita así a ver nuestras relaciones desde una perspectiva muy diferente. Cada ser humano somos el hijo pródigo, porque todos somos pecadores. El pecado nos tienta siempre con una vida fácil, disoluta, y llena de placeres. Si decidimos seguirla, experimentaremos solo insatisfacción, rechazo, y miseria. Al aceptar, habremos destruido parte de nuestra dignidad humana.
Acerquémonos hoy al Señor de la reconciliación, pidámosle a Él lo necesario para responder siempre con el amor, la misericordia, y la compasión que el evangelio de hoy demanda de nosotros. Pidamos fortaleza para ofrecer siempre reconciliación a un mundo injusto Supliquemos hoy al Padre misericordioso la fe que nos de la fuerza para convertir el odio en amor, el conflicto en paz, y la muerte en esperanza de vida eterna.

Tin mừng hôm nay nhấn mạnh về sự tha thứ và sự xót thương, Nhưng cũng nói về ghét bỏ, trả thù, và sự loại bỏ. Chúng ta có thể nhớ lại một đoạn kinh thánh khác được yêu thích hơn, hoặc câu chuyện được nhiều người biết tới hơn là câu chuyện người con hoang đàng? Chuyện dụ ngôn cố ý để mọi người có thể phản ảnh chính mình, có thể là một trong những nhân vật chính trong dụ ngôn. Hơn thế nữa chính mỗi người chúng ta, rất có thể có một ít cá tính của mỗi và mọi nhân vật trong câu chuyện nói trên.
Trong thời đại hôm nay, Đức Giêsu vẫn tiếp tục đảo lộn các quan niệm (xã hội). Chúa vẫn luôn thăm viếng chúng ta và chấp nhận mối quan hệ của chúng ta với nhũng khác biệt. Mỗi con người có thể là một đứa con hoang đàng bởi vì chúng ta đều là tội nhân. Tội lỗi luôn luôn cám dỗ chúng ta đi theo cuộc sống dễ giải. Tội lỗi vẫn luôn mời gọi chúng ta đi theo cuộc sống trụy lạc, một cuộc sống đầy những thú vui. Nếu chúng ta quyết định đi theo con đường này, Đến cuối đoạn đường, chắc chắn chúng ta sẽ bị loại bỏ rất khốn khổ, vinh dự con người sẽ thành mây khói. Hôm nay chúng ta hãy cùng đến với lòng nhân hậu hải hà của chúa.
Hãy đến nài xin chúa Những gì cần thiết để được Chúa khoan dung, yêu thương, và tha thứ. Đó chính là sứ điệp Tin Mừng hôm nay đòi hỏi nơi chúng ta.
Chúng ta hãy cầu xin sức mạnh để luôn mang đến sự hòa giải cho một thế giới bất công. Hôm nay, chúng ta hãy cầu xin Chúa Cha nhân từ ban cho chúng ta đức tin, để đức tin ấy sẽ ban cho chúng ta sức mạnh biến hận thù thành yêu thương, biến xung đột thành hòa bình, và biến cái chết thành hy vọng vào sự sống vĩnh cửu.

Carlo Acutis was a young Italian who loved the Eucharist and technology At just 15, he passed away from leukemia in 2006, leaving behind a powerful legacy: a website he built to share Eucharistic miracles. His story inspired thousands of young people around the world. During his beatification process in 2020, his body was found incorrupt in Assisi, which many saw as a sign of holiness. After a confirmed miracle attributed to his intercession, he was canonized in 2025 by Pope Leo XIV, becoming the first millennial saint and a symbol of faith in the digital age.

Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati – The Man of the Beatitudes
Born in Turin in 1901, Pier Giorgio Frassati came from a wealthy but secular family He spent his short life serving the poor, visiting the sick, and standing up for justice—all while studying engineering and climbing mountains. His motto, “Verso l'alto” (toward the heights), reflected his spiritual journey He died at 24 from polio, likely contracted while helping the needy When his body was exhumed in 1981, it was found incorrupt, deeply moving the Church. Beatified in 1990 by Pope John Paul II,who called him “the man of the eight beatitudes,” he was canonized in 2025 by Pope Leo XIV
