Saint Vincent de Paul: Recently, we helped twelve families stay in their homes, and helped seven families with PG&E bills, so they had heat this winter. We also helped with DMV fees, storage fees, and work permits. On the weekend of April 29-30, the second collection will be for community outreach Saint Vincent de paul. We hope that you will be very generous in your giving, so that we may continue to help those in need.

Prophets and righteous people long to see what you see.
Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, speaks straight forward to us when Scripture is proclaimed during Mass, but also through our brothers and sisters, especially through all those in need. Moreover, many times we have decided to ignore His message of love. Many people decided to ignore Him while He was performing His ministry here on earth; and we still continue ignoring Him nowadays. This is the core message of today’s gospel.
The parable of the sower shows us how constantly people refuse the Christian message. The main reason is that the Christian message strongly asks for a life commitment on our part. It calls us to awake, and to discover the changes that we need to realize during our journey here on earth. But quite often, people simply choose to ignore Christ’s message, or assign to it a very low priority in their lives. Even when this attitude might not be a complete rejection, it constitutes an answer by itself.
But for all those who decide to be watchful, divine Word is a treasure to listen to. To meditate on the simple but powerful words contained in Scripture will lead us to accept them, and to make them an important component of our daily lives; and finally, to treasure them in our hearts. Divine words treasured in our hearts will challenge us in many ways; they will become our consolation, our strength, and our blessing. They will become our rock; they will always be shaking our consciousness. What is more important, they will grow and fill our own being, leading us to discover the meaningful purpose for our own existence.

Por una vida eucarística.
Oremos para que los católicos pongan en el centro de su vida la celebración de la Eucaristía, que transforma profundamente las relaciones humanas y abre al encuentro con Dios y con los hermanos.
Jesucristo, la Palabra hecha carne, nos habla directamente cuando las Escrituras son proclamadas en la celebración de la misa, pero también a través de nuestros hermanos. Sin embargo, muchas veces ignoramos su mensaje de amor. Mucha gente ignoró al mismo Jesús durante su ministerio terrenal, y aún hoy continuamos ignorándolo. Este es el fondo del mensaje contenido en el evangelio del día de hoy.
La parábola del sembrador nos muestra cómo la gente constantemente rehúye el mensaje cristiano. La razón principal es que el mensaje demanda un compromiso de vida de parte nuestra, nos llama siempre a despertar, y a darnos cuenta que tenemos que hacer cambios en nuestro diario caminar por el mundo. Mucha gente prefiere en cambio el ignorar el mensaje de Cristo, o considerarlo entre sus más bajas prioridades. Aunque esta actitud no sea realmente un rechazo, constituye en sí misma un cierto modo de respuesta.
Pero para la persona que decide estar atenta, la palabra de Dios es un tesoro. Escuchar y meditar, acerca de las palabras simples pero poderosas contenidas en la escritura, nos llevará invariablemente a aceptarlas, a hacerlas parte de nuestras vidas, y a atesorarlas en nuestro corazón. La palabra atesorada en nuestros corazones trabaja de muchas formas, nos reta, nos consuela, nos fortalece, nos bendice, nos levanta, nos perturba y nos sacude; pero lo más importante es que crece y llena nuestra existencia, llevándonos a descubrir el verdadero propósito que dará invariablemente sentido a nuestra existencia.

Cầu cho việc sống mầu nhiệm Thánh Thể
Chúng ta hãy cầu nguyện để người Công giáo biết đặt việc cử hành Thánh Thể vào trung tâm đời sống của mình, nhờ đó biến đổi các tương quan nhân loại một cách thẳm sâu, và mở ra để gặp gỡ Thiên Chúa cùng anh chị em mình.

Nhiều vị tiên tri và nhiều đấng công chính đã ao ước trông thấy điều các con thấy.
Chúa Giêsu Kitô, Ngôi Lời nhập thể, trực tiếp nói với chúng ta trong Kinh Thánh được công bố trong Thánh lễ, nhưng cũng qua anh em của chúng ta, nhất là qua những người túng thiếu.Tuy nhiên, nhiều lần chúng ta làm ngơ với thông điệp tình yêu của Ngài. Nhiều người đã không chú ý
đến thánh chức của chính Chúa Giêsu khi Ngài rao giảng; và ngày nay chúng ta vẫn tiếp tục làm ngơ với Ngài. Đây là thông điệp chứa đựng trong bài phúc âm hôm nay.
Dụ ngôn người gieo giống cho chúng ta thấy người ta liên tục từ chối sứ điệp Kitô giáo. Lý do chính là thông điệp Kitô giáo đòi hỏi chúng ta phải dấn thân trong cuộc sống. Nó luôn kêu gọi chúng ta tỉnh thức và nhận ra rằng chúng ta phải thay đổi trong cuộc hành trình hàng ngày của mình ở trần gian. Nhưng khá thường xuyên, người ta chỉ đơn giản là chọn làm ngơ thông điệp của Đấng Christ, hoặc coi đó chưa phải là một ưu tiên trong cuộc sống của họ. Mặc dù thái độ này không thực sự là một sự từ chối, nhưng nó cấu thành một câu trả lời . Nhưng đối với những người quyết định chú tâm tới, Lời Chúa là một kho tàng để lắng nghe.
Suy gẫm những lời đơn giản nhưng mạnh mẽ chứa đựng trong Kinh thánh sẽ dẫn chúng ta đến
việc chấp nhận chúng và biến chúng thành một phần quan trọng trong cuộc sống hàng ngày của chúng ta; và cuối cùng, để trân trọng chúng trong trái tim của chúng ta. Những lời thiêng liêng được cất giữ trong lòng chúng ta sẽ thử thách chúng ta theo nhiều cách; chúng sẽ trở thành niềm an ủi, sức mạnh và phúc lành cho chúng ta. Chúng sẽ trở nên tảng đá của chúng ta; chúng sẽ luôn luôn đánh động lương tâm của chúng ta. Còn điều gì quan trọng hơn nữa, chúng sẽ lớn lên và lấp đầy con người của chính chúng ta, giúp chúng ta khám phá ra mục đích thực sự luôn mang lại ý nghĩa cho sự tồn tại của chính mình.

All the groups using facility must submit the reservation request form to the office, a responsible person must have a fingerprint, a safe environment certificate and a waiver. Please note: no cooking, no burners and no stoves allowed to use in the class room.
