As part of our approach to CSR, Light & Wonder supports the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) in many of our global markets across the company. As of now, our global work and company-wide initiatives align with 12 of the 17 UNSDGs.

• Providing stable employment opportunities for those reentering the workforce through partnerships with Dress for Success and Tech Impact, among others.

• Fostering internships and job opportunities for under-resourced populations.

• Investing in education initiatives to expand access to learning and empower marginalized populations.

Poverty

• Supporting our community through our corporate giving Game Changers programs with donations and charitable contributions of goods, in addition to Creator volunteerism to address houselessness, food insecurities, shelters for women and children and meal packaging and food delivery programs such as those with United Way, and Three Square.

• Promoting and fostering healthy lives and well-being for all people at all ages.

• Investing in resources and programs for our Creators and customers that foster education, awareness and treatment resources on Responsible Gaming.

• Ensuring inclusive and equitable on-demand education and regular trainings are supported and provided to our Creators and to students and youth groups.

• Striving for gender equality through our DEI initiatives and programs, which support and empower female Creators at all levels of the organization.

Gender equality

• L&W DEI Task Force, DEI Council and DEI Workstreams support equity, inclusion and a sense of belonging among our Creators globally.

• Fostering gender equality and diversity through partnerships with community organizations such as the NAACP, Human Rights Project and the All-In Diversity Project.

• Promoting sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.

• L&W promotes job opportunities in partnership with PowerToFly, a platform that gives visibility to talent from underrepresented populations.

Decent work and economic growth

• Opposing child labor, forced labor, slavery or trafficking across our supply chain.

• Believing all employment should be freely chosen and fairly rewarded for skill, contribution and performance.

• Not tolerating bullying, harassment or unlawful discrimination of any kind and upholding L&W’s core values and Business Code of Conduct.

• Building resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization and fostering creativity.

Industry, innovation and infrastructure

• Investing in sustainable operations in our facilities and manufacturing locations.

• Fostering innovation in our production, game products and customer offerings.

• Supporting industry innovations like healthy play and safe gaming for our Creators and players.

• Fostering DEI in all that we do and encouraging equal opportunity through our enterprise-wide policies and best practices.

Reduced inequalities

• Investing in our L&W DEI Task Force – Equitability Workstream ensures that our policies as well as our Talent, Compensation, Rewards and Benefits practices foster equitability and inclusiveness. Continuously work to identify systems that risk inequity, measure outcomes and ensure we are adhering to pay-transparency state laws.

Sustainable cities and communities

• Investing in initiatives that make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable for all.

• Supporting the building and strengthening of economies, communities and institutions.

• Supporting charitable causes that advocate for environmental sustainability and clean communities that can thrive and prosper.

• Reducing our impact on the environment by adopting sustainable practices in our operations, facilities and production of products — as well as accountable supplier diversity practices.

Responsible consumption and production

• Monitoring everything we use and when possible, decreasing our consumption.

• Implementing supplier diversity policy and program to ensure we are responsible operators and engaging with suppliers that are not only diverse but practice responsibility in their operations and production of products.

• Supporting initiatives such as the Great Global Cleanup project to combat climate change and its impacts on our natural environments and communities.

• Investing in charitable causes that support programs to reduce our carbon footprint and impacts on the environment and natural habitats where we live and work.

Climate action

• Tracking and monitoring our waste, recycling, energy and water usage and regularly identifying ways to reduce our impact on the planet.

• Investing in renewable energy programs and resources for all office and manufacturing locations globally.

• Protecting, restoring and promoting sustainable use of territorial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.

Life on land

• We work with all our suppliers to ensure we use the best products and only the minimum that we need for our work.

• We also support environmental initiatives such as Clean the World, which allows our hotel customers to repurpose and recycle soap products diverted from landfills and donates hygiene kits to shelters for unhoused populations and developing nations. In addition, we support the Canopy Project to support reforestation of those areas in need, and the Great Global Cleanup. Our Creators host dozens of community cleanup and beautification projects throughout the year.

Peace, justice and strong institutions

• Reinforcing our corporate governance pillar of work to include human rights policy and a code of business conduct and ethics.

• Operating in regulated markets and adhering to all regulatory requirements and in accordance with city, state and country regulations.
