Job description : Roche and AREVA Med recently joined forces in the fight against cancer and create a novel radio-immunotherapy. The agreement will focus on malignant disease with a high unmet medical need. Under this exclusive agreement, Roche and AREVA Med will assess the efficacy of combining Roche-engineered antibodies with AREVA Med's radionuclide, Lead-212, a compound that shows promise in treating some types of cancer. To further strengthen this collaboration, the Roche Institute of Research and Translational Medicine (IRRMT) is looking for a Research Associate in Preclinical Pharmacology in France. In this position you will join a highly motivated team devoted to cancer research. This position will require common mouse-handling techniques like different injection methods, bleeding and experience in mouse surgery. This function is visible and could potentially lead to play a key role in the future in the Roche R organization. Required profile : You're someone who wants to influence your own development. For this interesting position in a dynamic environment we are looking for a Research Associate who holds a degree in biological sciences (no Ph.D.) or a laboratory technician with at least two years of professional experience working on preclinical in vivo modeling. Sound knowledge of in-vivo handling such as injections and surgery with an emphasis in intravenous injections are required. Good command of English is a must. Experience in nuclear radioactivity and histology will be a plus You have a high degree of self-motivation, flexibility and are able to independently conduct experiments. You are also inquisitive and strive for continuous process improvement. In addition you interact effectively with a truly multinational team of scientists.
