Delta Auto Body, a Rhode Island staple since 1977, is continuing on as strong as ever. A new partnership group, including Founder and President Edward Pontarelli, along with a second generation of the Pontarelli family, is looking toward the future. In 1977, Ed Pontarelli, Sr. founded Delta Auto Body at its original location in Johnston, RI. The shop was an immediate success, as thousands of customers learned to trust Ed’s impeccable repair work and attention to detail. In fact, Ed Pontarelli was named the very first certified collision analyst in the state of Rhode Island. In 2011, having outgrown the original location, Ed moved Delta Auto Body to its current location in Providence, adjacent to the Providence Place Mall and minutes from downtown. The new location at 30 Acorn Street, offered more space and room for modern equipment, continuing Ed’s determination to always improve and keep up with the times and technology.

Consistency, attention to detail, and a desire to treat customers like family have secured 44 years of success for Delta. But the next generation is looking to build upon that strong base.
