General Information
Currently, there is no dedicated manual or protocol for prospective Observer members and general members of AMSA-Philippines to know more about what AMSA-Phil is, our advocacies, affiliated organizations, and activities. As a result, there is confusion and a lack of awareness of the wonderful opportunities we have as an organization both locally and internationally. Therefore, there is low member engagement and stereotypes on what we do in AMSA-Phil. This manual will serve as a guide and become a standard protocol for all members and non-members alike who want to know the basics in AMSA-Phil--including our history, member organizations, AMSA-Phil organizational structure, standing committees, AMSA-Phil Programs, national events, and how to become an AMSA-Phil member. The Internal Vice President, together with the EB, will conceptualize and develop our first AMSA-Phil Basics Manual: What You Need To Know. That will be published and disseminated for the benefit of our members and prospective members.
Goal and Objectives
To create and publish a basics manual that will be useful for all members and prospective members of AMSA-Phil. 1. To raise awareness by at least 70% of members and non-members with AMSA-Phil’s organization as a whole including our structure, and advocacies 2. To promote member engagement in our national events, local and international opportunities, and advocacies by at least 70% of AMSA-Phil members
