Message from the President Good day! It is my pleasure to open the first ever AMSA-Philippines National Team. Throughout the years, it has only been the Executive Board and a number of volunteers who are working behind the scenes in the National Level. This term (2020-2021), in an effort to promote inclusivity and member engagement, and to provide more opportunities to our members, we are opening our call to ALL our members. This year is a year of internal growth and sustainability for AMSA-Philippines. Amidst all this adversities that the world is experiencing right now, we hope to spark the passion in you to join our advocacies and become physician- leaders of the future. Being a part of the National Team does not only mean opening your mind to opportunities and knowledge that awaits but also opening your heart to a new family. We, in the Executive board, will be your technical, moral and emotional support system throughout the term as you are to us. Come join us as we work together to #GrowTogether as #OneAMSA. Stay tuned for more opportunities! Welcome to the family! Best regards, Rena Mallillin AMSA-Philippines President

Message from the Internal Vice President Dear AMSA-Phil members! On behalf of the AMSA-Phil EB AY 20/21, I am excited to open the call for the AMSA-Phil National Team. This year, we are making sure to build a community not only among the Executive Board of the local member organizations, but to all of our members. Because we want to promote participation, and work with you handin-hand. In this way, you are exposed to the culture of AMSA-Phil, and become more aware of our advocacies, and opportunities. My experience from being part of AMSA-Phil has led me to grow as a medical student and as a leader, it also gave me a wide perspective of how we can strengthen the advocacies that I support by working with my fellow officers and learning from them. I encourage you all to join the National Team and use your skills to support our thrust towards inclusivity and sustainability. We have a lot of activities in line for all of the members, and we need passionate and willing individuals to help us mobilize these plans into action. I can’t wait for all of you to join our community! Best Regards, Michelle Nhat Ly T. Reyes AMSA-Philippines Internal Vice President
