TOUR 1: Tre, Pol & Pen – Strawberry Fields Lifton – Darts Farm

TOUR 2: The Udder Farm Shop – Newton Farm Foods – Rumwell Farm Shop

TOUR 3: Darts Farm – Rumwell Farm Shop – Strawberry Fields Lifton

Tuesday 7 March

Tre, Pol & Pen

A Cornish farm shop & restaurant rooted in the Tamar Valley. Bringing people together, celebrating the good things that come with fresh food, craft & flavour. Tre, Pol & Pen opened their doors in 2019 to a farm shop stocked with an array of local produce, including beef from their herd of native Red Ruby Devon Cattle. Explore the farm shop, butchery, deli and restaurant with us on our tour of the South West.

Strawberry Fields Lifton

It all started from a small produce barrow outside the family home with a steel money tin. Now Strawberry Fields Lifton is home to a state of the art farm shop, successful PYO, 200 seater restaurant, function room and conference suite. The family thrive in producing and baking their own produce, and the newly extended farm shop includes a butchery selling home-produced meat, an artisan bakery 7 days a week and a well-stocked deli.

Darts Farm

From humble beginnings over 50 years ago, with a working farm still at the heart of the business, Darts Farm has organically grown into a vibrant, nationally awardwinning destination, run by brothers Michael, James & Paul.

The Farm Shop is a unique experience, combining a Food Hall with over 300 local suppliers with home & lifestyle departments and bustling eateries; including their latest venture ‘The Farm Table’ where ingredients from their farm and food hall are cooked over fire.

The Udder Farm Shop

The Udder Farm Shop is a family run, award-winning farm shop and restaurant based on the edge of the Blackmore Vale near Gillingham. Opened in 2005 by farmers Jane and Brian Down whose family have farmed in the village for four generations since 1938, our mission is to offer tasty, local food and to support and champion local and independent suppliers.

Newton Farm Foods

Newton Farm Foods is a family farming business neatly nestled away on the Duchy of Cornwall Estate in the picturesque village of Newton St Loe, just 10 minutes from the city of Bath. This little jewel in the crown incorporates a working farm, award-winning farm shop, traditional butchery, spacious licensed cafe with outside seating and children’s play area. As a farming family, we work on trust, and support local farmers and small independent producers who share our ethos.

Rumwell Farm Shop

Last year marked 25 years in business for Rumwell Farm Shop, from selling potatoes and eggs at the farm gate to winning awards for their jams and bakery items produced in house! Throughout the expansion of the business, the Mitchell family have stuck to their routes with a focus on minimal food miles. They are an integral part of the community and economy, employing more than 80 people in their shop and café.
