Tuesday 8 - Friday 11 July 2025
The Great Yorkshire Show dates back to 1838 and over the past 165 years the event has stayed true to its roots supporting and promoting agriculture and championing the vital role of farmers across the UK.
Every year, more than 140,000 visitors and over 8,500 animals converge on the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate.
As we approach the 166th Great Yorkshire Show, this iconic four-day event is still regarded as one of the biggest agriculture shows in England. With a diverse schedule of events, competitive classes and breathtaking main ring events such as the Cattle Parade, these are just a few reasons why we are the Great Yorkshire Show.
We have around 1,100 stands offering a varied product range from clothing, cars, motorhomes, giftware and our renowned food hall. Our trade stands are an integral part of the Show and its success and shopping is one of the top reasons our visitors come to the show.
The Great Yorkshire Show is organised by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society (YAS), a registered charity supporting rural Yorkshire. YAS supports and promotes the farming industry through health care, business, education and scientific research.
The Society is supported by its family of businesses including Fodder, Yorkshire Event Centre, Pavilions of Harrogate and the Harrogate Caravan Park as well as events Great Yorkshire Show and Springtime Live. All profits go to support the charities aims of championing and promoting agriculture and rural industries in the North of England which encourage consumers to choose local, healthy produce, also to advance agricultural research and the protection and sustainability of the natural environment.

2.9 Tracked Vehicles may not be driven on the Showground. They must be delivered on trailers and unloaded direct onto the stand where they are being exhibited.
2.10 Large Vehicles: Exhibitors using large mobile units, hiabs and cranes, should arrange to have these in position one week before the Show. This is especially important when it is necessary to encroach on adjoining stand space to manoeuvre the unit into position.
2.11 Catering: During set-up Fodder shop & café, just outside Black gate, is open for food and drinks. They also have a catering unit in the car park for take away drinks, cakes and sandwiches.
On Monday 7 July the Yorkshire café between the Food Hall and Home & Gift Hall will also be open for tea, coffee, sandwiches and hot food.
2.12 Monday 7 July is the busiest set-up day, with congestion across the showground. Large vehicles, and those with hiabs or cranes, will therefore not be allowed on site on Monday 7 July as they will not be able to navigate around the site. If you need to deliver any items using a large arctic vehicle or off load with a crane / hiab then please arrange for this to take place prior to Monday 7 July.
If exhibitors decide to set-up on this day they must expect a delay in services due to the number of vehicles on site and our increased workload. Likewise if exhibitors are setting up outside of core hours (after 6pm) there will be a reduced service available. On Monday 7 July there will be a one-way traffic system in operation within the Showground, please adhere to the system to ease the congestion on site for yourself and others.
All stands must be complete by 10pm Monday 7 July 2025.
Exhibitors who are parked within the showground are not permitted to move their vehicles whilst the show is open to the public. All ATV’s should display the relevant Access All Areas pass.

Gates will be open from 6am for exhibitors wishing to access the showground to restock before the Show opens to the public. The Food Hall and Home & Gift Hall will be open from 6am and closed at 7pm each day. A valid vehicle pass and exhibitor ticket will be required.
Please note there will be no vehicle access or movement after 7.30am, so all delivery vehicles should be removed from the Showground by this time.
At the end of the day vehicles with a valid vehicle pass will be allowed access 30 minutes after the Show closes, however for safety purposes this may be later dependent on crowd movement.
