COLOR RUN... BRING ON THE FUN! Xavier Elementary Home and School Association (HSA) held its third annual Color Run at Xavier Middle School on September 23rd. Hundreds of students and their families enjoyed this community building event. Frankie the Hawk attended to cheer on Xavier’s smallest Hawks. Faculty and staff eagerly volunteered their evening to line the course route and decorate the students with colorful powder as they ran past. The event concluded with everyone in the middle of the field for one final “color blast.” The Color Run also acted as a fundraiser for HSA which offers various support for the elementary faculty and staff such as classroom supplies, conference and in-service meals, appreciation gifts, Thankful Thursdays, and treats on holidays. The organization also hosts many school and family events throughout the year. A special thank you to the Color Run committee for all your hard work to make this such a memorable event for the kids!
