Good Day Team,
Welcome to our 2024 Summer edition of “The Nash Pipeline” Newsletter. I hope everyone has had an enjoyable summer, maybe including a little vacation time while the kids were out of school on break. The weather has certainly seemed to have been cooperative in all our locations in South Florida, South Carolina, and the Caribbean, so if by chance you had any planned events, hopefully it all worked out and a fun time was had by all!
First on my list in my “President’s Message”, I would like to thank all our team members who participated in this year’s “Employee Engagement Survey”. Although we did not accomplish 100% participation in the survey, I and the rest of the Leadership team were very pleased with the final number of 82.8%. You will read more about the survey a little later in the newsletter, however, I want to make sure I made it a point on how much we value getting your feedback on how you feel we are doing as an organization overall, hopefully meeting your needs of what you look for in an employer and finally, what we are doing right and what we may need to do to improve. I mean that’s exactly what takes place when we meet with our supervisor for our annual review, so why not give you the opportunity to do the same. Again, thank you to all who participated, and if you happened not to this year, please make it a point to do so next year.
Secondly, we’ve just started our last quarter of our fiscal year 2024 (remember our business year runs October 1st through September 30th) and the company is continuing to operate the same way we started the year, and all indications are this will be our best year ever as an organization. Many things play a role in making that happen. Some of these things we have control over and others we do not. We can only be thankful for those we don’t and be diligent in our focus and execution in those we do! No time for complacency, we need to just keep doing what we are doing. Work smart and stay safe! Let’s finish this year strong and take the time and look ahead and prepare for what we need to do to accomplish and recreate another successful year in FY2025.
In closing, as you look through the rest of the newsletter, you will find additional great information related to employee anniversary celebrations, project updates, employee spotlights and much more. We try and include all we can to keep you up to date on what’s happening wherever we are. But we’re also open to ideas on how to make it better, so if you have anything you would like to share that you feel might help, please pass it along by emailing NashPipeline@wrnash.com
As always, if you any questions, comments, or concerns for the good of the organization, please feel free to reach out and give me a call at 305-728-3420 or send me and email at Russell.nash@wrnash.com

How I live our Company’s Core Values: Trust, Team, Grit, & Growth...
Collections & AR Coordinator
“Trust: I honor my commitments and hold myself accountable for every work I do.
Team: I make sure the other team members know I am there to assist if they need my help.
Grit: I have the perseverance to focus on the goal, and implement ways of working more efficiently.
Growth: I enjoy learning more about the industry, this company, our projects, and how we can improve as a team.”
Project Manager
“Since I started, I have been given trust for what I was hired for. What I loved the most was the teamwork. I can go to anyone and ask for help. No one questions; they just help. Once I got established, I also noted the passion and hard-working environment in the office. I came in as an estimator, now I’m a project manager. I also noticed that WRN loves to promote within the company. That makes people work harder for their goals”
Assistant Superintendent
“Always come to work with a positive attitude trying to help our team to be successful, making sure we follow our company standards for productivity and quality, safety and quality is a big thing on my every day.”
Project Manager
“Trust: I’ve always worked with the intention of excellence, to be a woman of my word. This provides a sense of trust for those that work with me, whether a coworker or client.
Team: As a PM, I see all of us as a team – cooperating together to reach the end goal, a satisfied customer. We should all be looking out for each other to catch any mistakes to focus on being proactive instead of reactive.
Grit: Construction is not any easy industry…I face my tasks and challenges pushing through until there’s relief. Nothing lasts forever, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes it takes a bit of perseverance to get around those curves, but the light does eventually appear. Growth: Every project is different; every day is different…there’s always something to learn. YouTube is a great friend, and I’m never afraid to ask questions from different sources, as there are different perspectives”
In April, our Tamarac office had the privilege of hosting the incredible students from Junior Achievement of South Florida. We took them on a fascinating journey through all our departments, giving them an inside look into our warehouse and fabrication facility. Their enthusiasm and thoughtprovoking questions truly made the day memorable!
One highlight of the visit was when our Division President, Russell Nash, had the chance to share his personal experience and shed light on why it’s so amazing to work at William R. Nash, LLC.
On April 25th, several of our Accounting, VDC, and Operations team members laced up their running shoes and took part in the highly anticipated Lexus Corporate Run in the heart of Downtown Miami.
As one of the largest 5K races in the nation, the Lexus Corporate Run has become a true institution in South Florida. It brings together individuals from all walks of corporate life, promoting a fit and healthy lifestyle through running and walking.
We want to take a moment to give a special shout-out to the individuals who dedicated their time and energy to represent William R. Nash, LLC. at this fantastic event!
The Tamarac Team commemorated Mother’s Day (May) and Father’s Day (June) with two celebratory team lunches! Featuring a food truck, team barbecue, and raffle prizes for parents, these events successfully demonstrated our appreciation for colleagues who balance professional responsibilities with the crucial role of parenting. We recognize their dedication both at work and in their most important role: being a parent!
WRN Superintendent Harvey Fernandez’ children recently reached academic milestones. His daughter Samantha Fernandez finished high school, while his son Nicolas Fernandez completed middle school and will begin high school. Congratulations to them on their educational achievements and advancing to the next stage of their academic journeys!

During their internship, they will collaborate closely with our Estimating, VDC, and Project Management departments. They will be fully engaged in all aspects of each division, gaining practical experience and learning from industry professionals. We’ll also take them to visit our active project sites, allowing them to witness our work firsthand and get a real sense of our operations!
