Hello Team,
I hope each of you and your families are doing well and have had a great summer so far. It has been an eventful year thus far, as the fourth quarter of our fiscal year is on its way. Our past Division President, Russell Nash, retired June 30th after a lengthy career here at William R. Nash. Many thanks go out to him for his dedication to our organization and helping us become a leader in the mechanical contracting industry. Thanks Russell!
I have changed roles within the organization by taking over as Division President after Russell’s departure. I want to thank all of our employee owners for trusting me in my new role, as I will always strive to make decisions that are in the best interests of the company. I want to thank my father, William R. Nash, Jr., for giving me an opportunity in 1996 to become a full-time employee. I appreciate all that he did over the years to help me move along within my career and get to where I am today. I also want to thank Mike Pruiett and George Wininger for all their leadership over the years. You both helped me tremendously along the way and I would not be in this position without your insight. Thank you!
Our organization performed well financially through the end of the third quarter of this year. Although we are behind on our revenue projections, we are ahead on our gross profit and COP performance. With the addition of some key projects to our backlog, we look to be in good shape for the next fiscal year. Our team continues to be laser-focused on safety, as we had another quarter of good results both in the field and behind the wheel of our vehicles. Excellent job team! Let’s keep the momentum going!
Thanks to all of our employee-owners for completing this year’s engagement survey. This survey helps our leadership team determine where we stand in many areas within this organization and allows us to set forth goals and initiatives to help strengthen our organization. Through your engagement and completion of the survey, we can see how we perform year after year with the goal of becoming better each year.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns regarding our organization, please feel free to reach out to me either by phone at 786-402-1052, or by email at ryan.nash@wrnash.com .
Enjoy the rest of the newsletter!
Ryan Nash Division President

Exciting progress at the Jupiter Medical Center project! Levels 1-3 are taking shape as our in-wall plumbing is complete, with walls rising. Coordination with VDC was crucial, ensuring that all trades had the ability to install their materials seamlessly, especially around access points. These photos perfectly illustrate the intricate work involved. Check out the finished mains, pipe labels, and hangers in the corridors! Keep up the fantastic work, team!
We’ve completed our work at the new MUSC Health Jean & Hugh K. Leatherman Behavioral Care Pavilion. Our South Carolina team provided complete mechanical and plumbing services for this project.
The innovative new MUSC Health Leatherman Pavilion is set to transform behavioral health services in the Pee Dee region, serving as a comprehensive regional behavioral health center. This state-of-the-art facility will address critical healthcare needs by offering a strategic combination of triage, crisis stabilization, telehealth, outpatient, and inpatient services—significantly expanding much-needed behavioral health resources throughout the area.
The MUSC Health Leatherman Pavilion features a rapid access center providing walk-in triage and assessment with seamless transition to care, alongside advanced telepsychiatry services designed to strengthen access to psychiatric care region-wide. The facility includes sixteen adult and four adolescent beds dedicated to crisis services for rapid patient stabilization, complemented by comprehensive outpatient adult and pediatric behavioral health clinics. Additionally, a 63-bed inpatient psychiatric unit will treat patients requiring more acute care, incorporating the transfer of 23 psychiatric hospital beds from the McLeod Behavioral Health Center in Darlington to this new centralized location. The facility is projected to open in October 2025.
Our team successfully completed the comprehensive plumbing and medical gas systems for the Kenneth C. Griffin Cancer Research Building at the University of Miami Health System’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. The sophisticated 12-story, 244,000 sq. ft. facility required meticulous installation of advanced medical gas delivery systems to support critical research laboratories and specialized patient care areas. Our work included the implementation of high-purity medical gas networks, vacuum systems, laboratory gas infrastructure, and specialized plumbing solutions designed to meet the exacting standards required for cancer research and treatment protocols.

Each recipient is nominated by their supervisor and this nomination is brought to the leadership team for review. Incidents rarely happen without warning, they announce themselves through worn cables, faulty valves, or missing guards. Skipping inspections is like turning a blind eye to those warnings. At WRN, equipment that’s not inspected is equipment that can fail, and failures injure people. Daily checks aren’t paperwork; they’re protection. Sharp tools, stable lifts, stable ladders, and pressure-tested hoses keep our team safe.
When something’s off, report it immediately.
Silence and delay are just as dangerous as the hazard itself. Stay sharp, inspect. Report
You prioritized safety, we prioritize you—2025 Safety Incentives arriving in August!
