Good day Team,
I hope everyone has had a good start to 2025 and is looking forward to what this year may bring for yourself, your family and our organization throughout the year. All good things, I hope!
I’d like to take this time to specifically mention a couple of items in this message, but there is plenty to read about throughout the newsletter, so please take the time to read through it from beginning to end.
One of the topics that will be prominent throughout this year is our “2025 Accountability Campaign” that was announced at the end of January. As I mentioned in the initial launch stage of the campaign, this is an effort to reinforce the values that make our company successful. Our ability to take ownership of our role and responsibilities for our positions is the first step in pushing accountability throughout the entire organization, creating a stronger, safer, and more effective workplace.
Each quarter will highlight a specific focus area through discussions, training, and recognition opportunities.
Q1: Clarity & Expectations – Understanding job roles and responsibilities. Your supervisor will be reviewing with you your job description and you will be asked to re-sign your job description acknowledging you understand all your essential functions and the requirements of your position.
Q2: Process & Efficiency – Strengthening processes and execution.
Q3: Communication & Transparency – Ensuring clear and open collaboration.
Q4: Leadership & Core Values – Leading by example and living our company values.
Accountability starts with each of us—let’s commit to owning our roles, supporting one another, and continuously improving.
Together and with a determined effort we can make this a reality.
Finally, as a reminder, we have our Annual Meeting for 2025 coming up on March 25th between 7:00am and 10:00am at the “The Club at Weston Hills” in Weston, FL. Remember this is a mandatory meeting for any team member within 1½ hours from this location. We feel that it’s very important that you be in attendance if you are within that parameter, as beneficial information will be relayed regarding William R. Nash, LLC., HB Mechanical Group, and HB Global, LLC. At the end of the meeting, there will be an open forum for you to ask questions regarding any of the entities. If you are able to do so, please make it a priority to be there! For those who are unable, a recording of the entire meeting will be sent via text for all to view.
As always, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns for the good of the organization, please feel free to reach out and give me a call at 305-728-3420 or send me an email at russell.nash@wrnash.com.

“I have been working with Steven Forsyth, Project Executive, as a mentor for 1 year now. I have been with William R. Nash for 4 years. The greatest part about having Steven as a mentor is that he has so much knowledge from his many years of high-level experience that he is willing and ready to consistently impart on me. I have found that the key necessity for successful mentorship is the mentor and mentee’s willingness and commitment to teach and learn from one another. I have had many “bosses” in my career, but you can feel the difference between a “boss” and a mentor. The difference is genuine CARE! You can’t buy genuine care or enforce it; either people CARE, or they don’t. I know that Steve cares about my future and understands the importance of his mentorship on my ability to be successful, and I can tell he takes it very seriously. Working with Steve continues to build my confidence, knowing that I have support and that he ensures that I am always learning. That is what makes a great mentor! Lucky me!!

At William R. Nash, we believe that a well-synchronized work process delivers the best results. As we launch our accountability campaign in 2025, we’re doubling down on the values that have made us an award-winning mechanical and plumbing firm. Let’s delve deeper into what “Clarity and Expectations” means for our team:
Each team member will gain a comprehensive understanding of their specific job roles and responsibilities.
This clarity ensures that everyone knows exactly how they contribute to our complex projects and overall success.
Your supervisor will conduct a thorough review of your job description. This process allows for a detailed discussion of your essential functions and how they align with our company’s goals.
You’ll be asked to re-sign your job description after the review. This signature serves as your commitment to understanding and fulfilling your role requirements.
By clearly defining expectations, we’re ensuring that individual efforts are in sync with our company’s objectives.
This alignment is crucial for maintaining our high standards of quality and safety.
Clear expectations empower you to take ownership of your responsibilities. This ownership mentality is key to our “whatever it takes” approach to client satisfaction.
When everyone understands their role, it improves communication and collaboration across departments.
This clarity is essential for tackling the large and complex projects we’re known for.
A clear understanding of your current role sets the foundation for future growth within the company. It allows you to identify areas for skill development and advancement opportunities.
Remember, we view construction as a complex science. By clarifying roles and expectations, we’re equipping our team with the knowledge and confidence to excel in this challenging field. This initiative is part of our commitment to evolving our methods of design and implementation, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry.
Your active participation in this process is crucial. It’s not just about understanding your role—it’s about embracing the responsibility that comes with it. Together, we’ll continue to build on William R. Nash’s legacy of excellence, delivering top-tier mechanical and plumbing services to our clients.
