A LETTER FROM RITA

Hello Fall!

As the vibrant colors of fall paint our surroundings, it’s a time of reflection, gratitude, and preparation for the cozy months ahead. The crisp autumn air invites us to come together, celebrate our shared achievements, and look forward to the season’s new opportunities.

I want to take this moment to acknowledge the exceptional dedication and hard work of our team members. Your compassion and resilience are the true essence of our communities, ensuring that our residents feel supported and cared for every single day. It has been wonderful to see everyone embracing seasonal activities, creating moments of joy and connection that mean so much to our residents.

I am excited about the new initiatives and programs that are on the horizon, and I am confident that together, we will keep making a meaningful impact.

Thank you for your ongoing commitment and the passion you bring to your roles. I am proud to work alongside each of you, and I look forward to all that we will accomplish together in the coming months.

FIELDSTONE AT CHESTER SPRINGS

at Chester Springs

After months and months of preparation, stacks of paperwork, state inspections, hundreds of pictures hung, and finishing touches placed, Fieldstone at Chester Springs has officially opened its doors.

This brand-new addition to the Vantage Point family features personal care & memory care, as well as a new level of care called ‘platinum personal care,’ which blends independent living and personal care services and allows our residents to age in place more than ever before.

Residents were eager to move in and call Fieldstone home, with thirty residents moving in within the first month after getting the green light from the state to open.

“Opening Fieldstone at Chester Springs is incredibly exciting for our team and the families we serve. We are thrilled to provide a place where residents can live their best

lives, surrounded by caring staff and supportive peers.”” said ED Karen Garland.

A very special ‘Thank You!’ is due to the entire Fieldstone team, whose hard work and dedication made this launch possible. The facilities team ensured that every detail of the building was resident-ready and the culinary team has been hard at work crafting a delicious menu that caters to our residents’ diverse tastes. The nursing, resident support, and activities teams have worked tirelessly to create a lively and compassionate environment to welcome residents home to. HR & the entire front officeteam has been hard at work recruiting top-notch staff to serve our residents.

“Our residents and families were eager to get in the doors, and we couldn’t have moved them all in without the help of Kate Sammler & Matt Pavlick supporting us from the corporate team, jumping in anywhere there was a need while we continue to build our team here,” continued Garland.

Please join us in congratulating and thanking the Fieldstone for their commitment and teamwork!

FIVE YEAR SPOTLIGHT

Suzette Chambers, Director of Community Relations celebrated 5 years at The Lodge at Truitt Homestead in September. Suzette says: "Working at Truitt is such a joy on a daily basis! Watching the connection and happiness that residents have when they move-in is hard to top. When I walk past an activity and I see a resident who was once isolated or lonely participating with a big smile on their face makes my heart sing. Working with this incredible staff and cohesive group of directors is like no other workplace I've ever known. When I'm retired and reflecting on my life, I will think of my work with The Lodge at Truitt Homestead as the most fulfilling professional venture I ever had."

Congratulations, Suzette!
