We have devoted the utmost attention into every detail of our new community – from its thoughtfully designed architecture, to its well appointed rooms, and to the unparalleled services that Arcadia offers.
Arcadia is different from other options you may be considering. For one, we don’t require large up-front entrance fees and we offer the most spacious and modern independent living apartments in the area, many with balconies and patios. We also offer a host of á la carte services so you can make sure you are only paying for what you need, when you need it. Arcadia also offers faith-based ties to local parish St. Teresa of Calcutta. This unique program creates an inclusive, family-like atmosphere for all who reside at the community, regardless of affiliation.
Our mission is to help you maintain the lifestyle you want. And with optional healthcare available, our goal is to offer many services in the background so you can live the independent lifestyle to which you are accustomed — knowing that a little extra help is available if and when you need it. WHAT MAKES ARCADIA DIFFERENT?
Financial Freedom – Without long-term commitments or large buy in fees, our monthly agreements set us apart! Rather than writing a six-figure check to a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), you maintain control of your assets. By doing so, you earn the interest and return on investments built up over a lifetime, not the community you’re moving into. And since we don’t tie up your assets in a complicated contract, it is easy to leave if you decide to move for any reason.
Flexibility - We offer independent living with the option of adding additional health and wellness services, if/when you need them through a one-ofa-kind association with local healthcare providers.
These programs are designed to help residents maintain their independence for as long as possible; but if needs should increase, you’ll enjoy the peace of mind that comes with priority access to our on-site personal care and memory care community.
Design - Our beautiful contemporary design elements combined with historic touches lend a very unique, comfortable feel to our community. Our apartments feature open, spacious floor plans with high-end finishes.

Independent Living: Your rent includes so much more than your apartment, such as: $300 worth of meals per person, per month, property taxes and basic utilities (i.e. water, heat, electric, trash collection, and recycling). It also includes services such as weekly housekeeping & linen service and activity programs. Not included in your monthly rent are phone, cable and Internet, which are provided for a nominal fee, any meals that you purchase over your $300 monthly credit, and additional services you opt
to receive (i.e. services from our on-site healthcare partners, private transportation or salon).
Personal Care/Memory Care: Your monthly fee includes three meals daily in our beautiful restaurant as well as the same convenient services and exceptional amenities offered in independent living. But most importantly, you’ll enjoy the peace of mind that comes with the presence of a licensed nurse in the community around the clock, and the most advanced health and safety monitoring technology available.
HOW MANY MEALS WILL I GET WITH YOUR MEAL PROGRAM?
Independent Living: The simple answer is, it depends! As in all restaurants, the price of each meal varies depending on the time of day (lunch vs. dinner) and menu item (salad vs. filet mignon). Rather than allotting residents a certain number of meals, we feel offering a credit provides the most choice and flexibility. One average, you can expect your $300 per person credit to cover about 15 meals per month.
Personal Care/Memory Care: All meals are included in your monthly rent in personal care and memory care. We also have an any-time cafe stocked with drinks and snacks around the clock.
HOW DO YOUR COSTS COMPARE TO THOSE OF OTHER COMMUNITIES?
You’re going to be pleasantly surprised. Yes, we’re committed to top-notch services and technology but we’re also committed to value!
We don’t charge large, upfront fees and our prices are extremely competitive – and may even be lower than
other communities in the area. Of course, we encourage you to compare and we think you’ll find that we provide better value and more flexibility than many other retirement communities.
WHAT IS INVOLVED IN THE MOVE-IN PROCESS?
It’s really quite simple. Our community relations team will work with you to help select your preferred floor plan and location in the community. Once your selection is made, you’ll complete an application for your selected apartment.
After that, we will schedule your move-in date and sign a rental agreement! We will work together to make the process as smooth as possible.
If you’re moving into personal care or memory care, there are a few additional steps that we’ll need to take, but we’ll help you every step of the way! We’ll get in touch with your physician to obtain the necessary paperwork, and then we’ll conduct a very simple nursing assessment. Rest assured our team will be on hand to coordinate the process with you and/or your loved ones.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED HELP IN MY APARTMENT, NOW OR IN THE FUTURE?
Independent Living: Another part of what makes us so unique is that our independent living apartments truly allow you to maintain your independence for longer than is possible in your home alone.
Independent living is ideal for seniors who seek a worry-free lifestyle with countless services and amenities to enjoy at their fingertips, with access to flexible health and wellness services that will help maintain their independence for as long as possible. If you need additional help, our on-site healthcare providers can support you with a care plan individualized both to what you want, and need. We can also provide you with rehabilitation and therapies that will help you recover from and/or prevent future hospitalizations.
If your needs increase over time, you can rest assured the team will be there for you in our on-site personal care and memory care community, with the added peace of mind and security of 24-hour nursing.
Personal Care/Memory Care: If you’re a resident in our personal care or memory care community, we establish simple levels of care and medication management programs which enables residents to pay only for what they need. So if you’re needs increase over time, it is simple and convenient to adjust your program to meet your needs at the moment. And better yet, it is just as easy to adjust your program if you no longer need as much care! Our goal is to maintain and improve resident independence!
WHAT TYPES OF CHANGES CAN I MAKE IN MY APARTMENT?
Our community is your new home, and we want you to feel comfortable in your surroundings. There is an approval process for apartment modifications and your executive director will walk you through what that process looks like upon opening.
MAY I BRING A PET?
Yes! We enjoy well-behaved pets and encourage you to bring them as long as you are able to care for and pick up after them. A small, nonrefundable fee will be collected upon your pet’s arrival.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I MOVE INTO THE COMMUNITY, BUT DECIDE TO LEAVE?
Independent Living: As with most apartment leases, there is a 12-month initial term. After that, if you choose to leave, we merely ask for 60-days’ notice.
Personal Care/Memory Care: Residents of personal care or memory care require 30 days notice.
