uy and Donna LoSauro bring collectively almost six decades of salon experience to 212 Salon and Day Spa in Upper Montclair. With a partnership backed by a wealth of experience, it is no wonder that the LoSauros pride themselves on offering the very best in customer service. The husband and wife team have been in New Jersey working with clients and gaining experience for a very long time, both owning their own salons before coming together to create 212 Salon and Day Spa. Guy was the guy behind Guy Anthony Salon in Clifton for 40 years and Donna owned Pinnacle 2000 in Cedar Grove for more than 18 years. Being business owners in both Essex and Passaic counties certainly gave them some insight when they opened 212 Salon and Day Spa on Bellevue Avenue last November. “We provide excellent customer service from beginning to end,” the LoSauros explain. “Our everyday goal is to fulfill each

guest’s individual needs and expectations during their 212 Salon and Day Spa experience.” 212, which has just celebrated its one year anniversary this November, provides clients with an extensive menu of services, which includes hair cutting and coloring, manicures and pedicures, facials and body treatments, makeup and massage, “Formal Styling” and Wedding Parties. The LoSauros feel that their color specialists have helped them to gain popularity. “We thoroughly enjoy our upper Montclair location, its unique structure and placement in the uptown area,” they say. “Our location is very welcoming for walk-ins and drive-by guests.” 212’s staff includes front desk personnel, managers, nail technicians, estheticians, stylists and a colorist as well as a massage therapist and a number of apprentices. The LoSauros say that “individual personalities, overall everyday challenges, time management

and keeping a strong team” are among the most demanding tasks in salon ownership. While the challenges in spa ownership can be difficult at times, the LoSauros do not overlook the benefits of working in a very creative industry with a lot of positive thinking people. “We are able to create and share our creativity and individuality,” they say. “We are role models for all our future stylists and colorists.” As for the future, the LoSauros are excited about the possibilities at 212 Salon and Day Spa. “We hope to expand our salon and day spa, create more jobs and to continue to grow and stay as one of the top salons and day spas in New Jersey,” explain the LoSauros.
