University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine
One of 32 schools of veterinary medicine in the United States, the school graduated its first class in 1987. Although a relative newcomer among its peers, the school is consistently ranked among the top ten. Each year, 96 students (62 Wisconsin residents) are admitted to the school's four-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree program. The school also offers advanced research and graduate training through its Comparative Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program.
